Thanks to my brother in law, Tian Maree, who assisted me with this 20kg Lamb spit at an 80th Birthday party yesterday. It was a lovely day with friendly people at a beautiful location in Kleinbaai.

Rotisserie Chicken over hardwood coals with breast pockets filled with parsley, thyme and rosemary dipped in garlic butter, and the cavity stuffed with lemon, massaged with olive oil and braai salt, slowly roasted for 5 hours.

We are still working on the details, but we plan to offer a spitbraai service as well as having a stall at the Stanford sunset market every month. Menu for that will change, for January we are looking at doing hamburgers, chicken burgers and boerewors rolls. For February, roast chicken with salad and for March, a lamb spit.
Spit will be available to hire, with someone to operate it. Any suggestions are welcome!
