Earlier in the week we received a nomination for Best Of Oudtshoorn (Function Decor and Flowers) and on the same day the most wonderful customer review from a Father that sends flowers to his daughter every year on her birthday. To receive a photo 14 days after deliver with the flowers still on display means so much for me and my business.

"when it rains it pours" - a good summary of this week.

With all the rain pouring down this week in Oudtshoorn and surrounding areas it was also pouring in flower orders. As for each raindrop I am truely thank for each and every order placed this week. Unfortunately our stock are very limited but a small variety of fresh flowers will arrive again tomorrow morning. All orders already place will be delivered in the morning and all new orders only tomorrow afternoon.

Looking back at this week made me think of something my Father-inlaw use to pray with every meal... "and make us truely thankful"

The past 4 years I have been visiting Die Beloofde Land post Mothers Day and pre birthday and the next 2 days is that time of the year again! Thanks to a friend winning a stay there a few years back I was introduced to this gem within an hours drive from Oudtshoorn. Give them a look you will not be dissapointed.

Thank you!!! Dropping off these donations this afternoon, with rescue workers/volunteers sitting on the pavement covered in dust with something to eat or drink, gathering their strengths to start the search again I just realised that it does not matter how much or what we give. A little goes along way and just the sense of coming of together even further. Thank you to our clients, other businesses and individuals that helped in putting together this last minute donation.

This has been on my mind and heart all night. My business is situated in Oudtshoorn but I am fortunate enough to work in George once a week and my daughter goes to school there. It feels like a second hometown and with the disater that happend yestetday afternoon my heart just goes out to George and its people.

I am driving to George at 12h30 today and are willing to drop of any donations! My adress for donations are 77 Jan van Riebeek street. Please see attached what is most needed at the moment.

Being Mothers Day week and taking orders I can not help to think of the mothers of those workers still stuck under the rubble.

This is not something I normally do but I am taking 2 sick days, tomorrow and Friday. I have been struggling with an nasty cold since Monday and realized that with Mothers Day a week away I need to get better sooner than later. All orders already placed will still be fulfilled.
