Today marks a whooole week since the big reveal of the Black Coffe cake. By now I believe the position of the spotlight has been established.

With this post I'm simply acknowledging myself for being a part of this beautiful project.

We toiled through the Easter weekend to achieve this mammoth of a task. I enjoyed every bit of the process I must mention .. sacrificed a good 5 DAYS!! away from my babies, husband, business and comforts to take this joy ride😁..

We barely slept, only took a 2hr wink nakhona 'cos of loadshedding, sometimes we worked through our torches cos we were neck on with the deadline 🤪.. I haven't fully recovered physically , cut fingers and all, drilling and sowing through the am's🕡, body shaking like a leaf, cold nights, playing loud Xigaza music just to keep ourselves awake🤭.. hubby bringing me changing clothes 'cos ngiphume nje ngo Khanyi🤭..

The delivery was a crazy experience, si'isgove emuva, cold stinging to the body just to ensure the cake arrived safe...

I had the most fun and will absolutely do it again! Greatful for all that I've learned and will forever cherish the experience. Seeing the kids' faces amazed at the size, PRICELESS 🤗!!..
. & big up to Patience for baking well over 100 layers of cake. We couldn't have done it without you baby. Thank you!
