The Funky DJ Academy

The Funky Academy was formed after the founders entered and won "ITV's" People's Million's Competition and the dream of starting the Funky Academy became reality. We offer training and advice on every aspect of DJ’ing, Music production, Radio broadcasting and much more. We pride ourselves with having a great team of coaches all experienced working DJ and some with over 15 years DJ’ing as residents

in clubs, bars and for many private and corporate events. We also regularly have other well-known guest “DJ’S” to come in and meet with our students. Our coaches have a real passion and working knowledge of turntables, CD decks and all aspects of modern digital ‘controller’ DJ’ing. The Funky Academy offers workshops free to schools and our prices for the public are aimed to be affordable and excellent value for money. The Funky Academy is open to anyone, adults, boys, girls, young and old, whether they are beginners or experienced DJ’s wanting to polish up their skills or perhaps learn a new style or DJ system. Whether you are interested as a hobby or want to carve a career, we can help you to master your requirements. We are fully insured with public liability for DJ’ing and teaching and all our coaches have current DBS security checks.
