After many years of coaching and performing Brazilian dance styles in Adelaide and interstate, in 2008, Brazilian born Silvi Milans founded Danca Brazil Entertainment.
Danca Brazil is proud to be Adelaide’s first samba school which today runs 7-8 classes each week that focuses on Brazilian samba and fitness. As well as teaching the fundamentals of the Samba, a very high energy dance as seen in Carnival on the streets of Rio each year, Danca Brazil is known for their authentic teaching syllabus, fun delivery and their professional choreographies in dance styles like Axe, Samba reggae, lambada, Afoxe' Afro, Rio Samba no Pe' and Passista style samba.
Silvi’s teaching style is very interactive and promotes a fun but structured learning environment for her students. Students can enjoy a recreational class simply for fitness, can be a part of a performance team or gain individual coaching for further development.
Through continuous training of Samba schools, teachers, organisers and all of their students locally and interstate, Silvi, along with her instructing team Kim and Jane, are dedicated to continue to develop the level of samba in SA & Australia in an authentic way to keep the ROOTS of what samba is.
