Are you a teacher or educator? Are you keen to explore new ways of engaging students using art techniques? In 2025, Bundaberg Regional Galleries is offering a Teacher Professional Development session every term. These sessions have been developed by an experienced Senior Arts Educator to assist primary and secondary teachers with the integration of the arts into the learning environment. Including practical and hands-on activities, as well as printed resources, these sessions are aimed at participants with all levels of teaching and arts experience. To kickstart the year, our Term 1 session will feature artist, Marlies Oakley, of 'Papiergeschichten' fame! Spaces are limited, so book now!

Last Thursday, we said our good byes to our good friend and long time member of Ol Meri Wantok-Bundaberg and also friend of Ol Meri Wantok - Madang, Madang Province & Ol Meri Wantok- Eastern Highlands Province. PNG , "Moss" as we know him.
It was a good celebration of his life, in which a lot was mentioned of his childhood in PNG, Madang. Thank you Moss for allowing us to get to know you , may you RIP. Thank you Sharna ( Moss's niece) for a beautiful send off for a lovely man.
