BET Visionary - Andi Lucas
Surface level thinking just doesn’t cut it here in Tasmania. A state filled with innovators and pioneers in their fields, we are always looking to improve and challenge the status quo.
Andi Lucas is one such pioneer. After living through both a bushfire and a flood, Andi became increasingly passionate about climate change and finding a new, innovative natural building material that’s both sturdy and fire resistant. This pursuit led Andi to a material called hempcrete and establishing the first hemp fiber processing factory in Tasmania.
