Our 1st year is done, and so grateful to everyone who participated, our sponsors, everyone that came to watch, and now looking forward to 2025....

Had a great event raising money for Leeton Can Assist and Matteo Dubyna, who each received $2,250.00

We had 169 Cars, Bikes and Trucks enter, our markets stalls went well, most of the foodies ran out of food, Hotels, Cafes', Pizza places looked very busy, which in turn helps Leeton.

Wow, what an amazing night, little did I know how this would turn out, and such wonderful support from you all....

A massive thankyou to everyone who turned out to see our vehicles and to support this event. ❤️

To the Expatriates Auto Club - Coffee&Cars Griffith inc, Sharon & Steve, thank you for all your support from our first chat to last night, what a superb effort 👌 thank you

To all the participants that travelled as far as from Sydney, Wagga, Hillston, Griffith, and of course Leeton, we thankyou so much, I'm sure you all had fun, by the smile on your faces while lapping....

To all the food & market stalls, thank you, great to see a great range of food and a great spot, I know some ran out of food, well done 👏🏻
Hopefully this will grow next year and have more of a range for everyone

To my family, thank you guys for putting up with me over the last few months, preparing for this, love you guys, Giselle & Angel 😇

To have 160 cars participating in our 1st event is overwhelming and we are so grateful for everyone who entered, yes the Lap was a bit tight, but we will make it longer next year. 👍

To all the car clubs that organised to come as a club, and park as a club well done, this is what it is all about, cruising, displaying and chatting to anyone that loves cars & bikes

A special mention to the bikes, where else can you go and ask for a lap and yes, jump on the back and I'll give you a lap on their bikes, wow, sensational guys....

To everyone that came out to have a look, wow thankyou, so many people and all well behaved, it was so good to see so many people out & about, the hotels were full, all shops that were opened also well patronised, well done & thank you

Thank you to all our volunteers 🙋‍♂️ thank you so much, it would not have ran so smoothly without you guys & ladies for all your help, thank you again.

We will over the few days we will post to show how much we raised for our Charities, just need to finalise all accounts.

To the Leeton community thankyou, for all your support and patients with road closures, before and while this event was happening, thank you

We look forward to preparing this event again for 2025, with a date yet to be set, I can guarantee it will be on again

Big day tomorrow for Lap it up Leeton, plenty of cars entered already.
Wow, its is overwhelming to say the least, can't wait for tomorrow.

Only little hiccup is our Pirate Ship that was coming to entertain the kids & adults has sprung an oil leak and can't make the event.

However, plenty of other things to see and do, see you all tomorrow from 4pm.

Saturday 7th September Road Closures .....
this is a closed street event...

Notice is hereby given under the Roads Act 1993, Section 122, of the temporary closing of Pine Avenue between Acacia Avenue and Kurrajong Avenue. Pine Avenue will be closed on Saturday 7th September 2024 while the fundraising event ‘Lap It Up Leeton’ will take place. A full road closure and detour will be in place with access to ’Lap It Up Leeton’ entrants only between 4pm and 8.30pm. All other traffic to follow the detour provided.

DETOURS
Detour of Pine & Kurrajong Ave is by way of Palm & Acacia Avenues. Plenty of signage will be out, to ensure minimum disruption as possible

PARKING

The proposed event affects a significant amount of the parking available within the CBD, as vehicular access to Pine Avenue will be restricted for the duration of the event. Therefore, the angled parking along Pine Avenue will not be available during the event.
There is a significant amount of long-term, off-street parking facilities located within the CBD, particularly off Sycamore Street, Wade Avenue, Reservoir Lane and the western side of Church Street, as well as the Sports Ground Carpark along Palm Avenue. These parking areas rarely reach capacity and will be able to cater for the loss of parking along Pine Avenue and Kurrajong Avenue for the duration of the event.

TAXI RANK
due to the closure of Chelmsford Place, the taxi rank will be closed, However you can call a taxi on 0484259546

ENTRANTS
All entrants to congregate on Belah St, with Laps to start at 5.30pm, please be sure to register and arrive in plenty of time to get your vehicle checked off, to ensure it is safe and paid.

tickets to enter your car or Bike $40 per vehicle, or $50 on the day

SPECTATORS
Free event, we do ask if you can move all vehicles out of Pine Ave prior to the Street Closure, so entrants can lap & park along Pine ave to pop the bonnet to show them off .....

MARKETS
