Post ceremony highs are a thing for Celebrants. I used to lurk about at the reception, drinking your champagne and talking to your friends and fam. Soaking up those freshly hitched vibes. Smiling coyly (but drinking it up) as people told me it was the best ceremony they had ever been to… so personal and lovely and full of laughs and all the feels. I mean, my perfect moment of validation would always come from uncle Joe‘s high praise, or nanna’s thanks. Now I’m a little more subtle, I don’t need to hear the words when I can see the smiles. But damn! on occasion I would love to stay for this kind of DF action!! Nic, lighting up the night, the second gown and laying down her life to capture the magic mems. 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽
