Some days remind you why you do this job. Property Unites 2025 Charity Luncheon was one of them.

I got to produce this one at the stunning 1 Hotel Melbourne (you know I love a hotel, and this one brought it's A game), bringing together three networks, Women in Property, Qu**rs in Property and Men in Property, for a room that felt less like an industry event and more like a genuine coming together.

Watching the auction pick up pace, hearing directly from Avalon about what their Homes for the Homeless program actually does on the ground, and seeing people connect across companies, that's what stays with me long after the event wraps.

The number at the end of it: $275,000, going straight toward safe, dignified housing for people who need it most. With an initial goal of $100,000, what we achieved instead is something I'm truly proud of.

Rain wasn't part of the plan, but we weren't going to let the weather ruin the party! 🌧

For Whiteman Property & Associates' Kilmore Grounds launch just outside Melbourne, kids had toasties, an animal farm, face painting and balloons, while parents enjoyed live music, free coffee, a walk through their stunning new sales office and a guided tour of the Stage 1 construction grounds.

Backup plans and contingencies, an option for every scenario, that's how we roll at Zesty 🌧🌈

Can we talk about EVENT ENTERTAINMENT for a moment?

I'm ALWAYS on the lookout for fun and original ways to engage and entertain the guests at an event. I want my client's attendees to have something exciting to talk about on the car ride home, or to share with their friends and family in the groupchat.

That assosiation between your brand or occasion and a feeling of fun, joy and surprise... That's a winning ticket. For this recent event at Werribee Mansion, we engaged a roaming magician at the welcome drinks, and it was a total hit! I'd love to know - what's the most unique way you've entertained guests at an event? I'm curious at creativity!

This. Space. Was. Unreal. And even though the shell is amazing, to build up an event like this San Pellegrino gala, I always start with the guest experience.

Just imagine being a guest at this dinner - you arrive on site, you turn a corner into the venue, and the colour, scale and tone are set from the moment you enter. You feel like you're a part of a unique exhibition, not just a simple dinner.

It's interesting, it's unexpected, it's completely atmospheric.

That feeling that's created, that's the art of hosting. And it goes hand in hand with selecting the right space and venue for your occasion.

Okay, this throwback still doesn't feel real 🤩

We were named State Winner for Victoria at the 2025 Australian Event Awards & Symposium, recognised in the Best Brand Event category for the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Pacific Regional Final in Melbourne.

Ten chefs, three days, a room built to feel like nothing you'd expect from a cooking competition. If it's unexpected, creative and entertaining for a guest, you better believe it's in a notebook of mine.

A few more frames from a memorable sushi night in Sydney for our pharmaceutical client. Opera House views, thoughtful table styling, and a menu that perfectly matched the moment. 😋

One thing we always encourage clients to think about is how their brand shows up throughout the event. It's not about how many logos you can fit into a space - it's about how intentionally they're integrated.

Is your logo / event name simply printed on a welcome sign at the door? Or is your brand woven into the experience, appearing in unexpected ways and becoming part of the story guests remember?

That's the difference between branding that's seen and branding that's felt. Just a touch of creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.
