Pip Stachio aka Liv Bell is deeply influenced by their clown training and love of all things comedic. A “pocket-rocket, powerful, dancing explosion of energy” (Praise Dionysus), Pip Stachio is a mixture of burlesque, physical theatre and a huge dash of 90s boyband choreography.

April Le Feu Rouge a.k.a 'The Red Fire' is here to capture your gaze and set the stage ablaze. Serving face at every angle and dropping into a split whenever the opportunity presents itself, she has spent half a decade seducing audiences with her slinky moves and captivating stare. Having begun her journey in burlesque in 2023, she has found home stripping and sparkling like a star on stage.

"Paper Play" is a workshop led by artist Nicky Tsekouras (), who brings a wealth of experience and a passion for blending different artistic mediums.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist looking to expand your skills, this program offers a supportive environment where you can learn, create, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts.

This FRIDAY, James Lockwood and David Gooey take The Motley stage for a night of swing and bebop! Free entry!

Specialising in the Bebop and Swing idioms of the 1930’s, and 40’s, guitarist David Gooey and upright bassist James Lockwood perform artful renditions of music from The Great American Songbook in addition to better and lesser-known compositions from the pens of Charlie Parker, Kenny Dorham, Miles Davis, and Gigi Gryce.

Join us every Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm for a drop-in life drawing session!

This class provides a safe space to create and explore your artistic skills. The session begins with a series of short poses for warm-up, followed by longer poses as the class progresses. We feature a different model each week, and the workshop is hosted by Nathan McGlynn, a visual artist and our gallery director. Nathan will offer occasional light instruction and activities for those interested, but you’re also welcome to work independently.

We provide paper and various drawing implements, including pencils, markers, charcoal, and pastels. Feel free to bring your own materials if you prefer.
