Craig and Kat were married atThe Park Hotel on Watton Street surrounded by friends and family, local, interstate and New Zealand. The ceremony was a cultural mix with the Groom resplendent in full Kilt attire, the radiant Bride looked stunning wearing the traditional Korowal, whose sister and son surprised us with the Haka, lots of lovely singing, Piper Ross adding to the day, and cake by my good friend Angela. The ceremony combined Irish, Māori and of course Aussie. Great day had by all in attendance.

A week of beautiful Bridal couples. I was speaking to a large number at a ladies group this week, and on preparation, I counted that in my many years as a Celebrant, I have married over 40 nationalities from every continent. One photographer this week was from Bhutain. I feel so very privileged to meet every one of them. So interesting.

The Groom flew down from Queensland, the Bride arriving on Thursday from Canada. She had one day to get over jet lag and early this morning, Prab and Nav were married. So much joy and happiness. And a beautiful sunny day. So much love. Sending you both many blessings.

A very elegant wedding sari for a special intimate ceremony with their parents attending.
Next day we "moved" to Nepal for an exciting wedding where I caught up with a previous wedded couple. The couple were surrounded by family and friends, local, interstate and from Nepal. The groom wrote his own Vows which were beautiful and yes, tissues all round!! Little baby son looked so handsome in his tuxedo and had a lovely time.

We had such a lovely time together marrying this beautiful couple. All smiles. My good friend Salman was the photographer, and the couple went on to Hotel520where they were made to feel very special and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Congratulations and best wishes to you both.

What has been the best part of your week? Did something or someone bring a smile?
Each day is special and some more special than others, and this week I was truly blessed with two funerals for two very special ladies, one a magnificent 109 and 5 months, and 95 and 7 months. Two much loved ladies now at rest. Shawn prepared the first class photos,cards, etc.
As a contrast, I have had three private weddings for 3 beautiful couples., one I had married 4 of the family, and numerous friends. All love Karaoke!!
Again evidence of no matter the number of candles o n your cake, it is about the way you face life and live it to the full. Have a wonderful week.

Laura and Terry chose to have their wedding ceremony at the Werribee Golf Club followed with a family dinner at The Views. The sunshine was perfect and towards the end of the ceremony we were treated to a beautiful reflection from a glorious sunset. The day was filled with love, happiness and smiles for such a joyous celebration.
