Typically speeches would happen during your reception, but a lot of our Rebel Rebel couples aren’t having your typical reception and instead are celebrating with drinks locally or dinner at a restaurant…. That doesn’t mean you need to ditch speeches though! We’ve seen a few couples now that have added speeches after their ceremony and it is sooo beautiful to hear the gorgeous words from a couples closest people! We highly recommend!

These two confessed they are so different from each other and have totally different hobbies, but whatever they do together, they have fun. The mundane stuff like grocery shopping, cooking dinner, doing the gardening… which we firmly believe is where the magic is!! The big days are important but so are all the small days! And being able to focus on the important stuff on the day you get hitched is what it’s all about… forget the pageantry of the traditional big white wedding and instead focusing on you two, your fave people and just hanging out having fun! The kids had no idea they were getting married until the morning of when they surprised them, they made it official with just their immediate family present with cake and champagne before family dinner then karaoke with friends where they sang the night away! Pure bloody perfection from the most gorgeous souls!

Get in quick, cos Rebel Rebel won’t be here forever! In fact, you’ve got less than six months to lock in your Rebel Rebel hitching, as we are wrapping up at the end of our lease in November 2023 ⚡️💫
This is not sad news! (We’re so happy to be finishing on a high!) There’s been A LOT happening behind the scenes to suss out how we move the biz forward, an ongoing shall we/ shan’t we of locking in another year or two of the chapel, and after six months of trying to negotiate a lease extension, we were at a complete roadblock. No word on a lease extension meant we were unable to take bookings past November 💔 There were eMoTiOnS let us tell ya! Just as we were about to announce last month, a lease extension offer came through! But we’ve decided to turn it down…. In all honesty, we’ve done EVERYTHING we wanted to with Rebel Rebel, more than we expected tbh! We’ve seen over 40 couples get hitched and have another 20 couples locked in, which we are still sooo excited for!
There have been long days and hard hustles from day one and we’re not shy to say we’ve killed it! But we’re both busy gals, each with our own businesses outside of Rebel Rebel and the time has come to slow our lives down, work 5 days a week instead of 7 (🫠🫠🫠) and say goodbye to our neon Northbridge haven! Like Nelly Furtado sang… all good things come to an end 💃🏻
A massive thank to every person along the way who have cheered us along - our industry mates, every wedding guest, our gorg couples, our friends & fam, and of course our biggest cheerleaders of all, our partners Jess & Damean!
Soooo if you’ve been on the fence about a Rebel Rebel wedding get in quick… Sept and Oct are almost fully booked every weekend with just some Saturday morning slots and weekdays available. (Weekday weddings rule btw ⚡️) Mid July and August has dates, as has November! Love you all 💋💋💋

Madison & Daniel making it official last night with a cheeky weekday hitching with the fam! They’ve known each other since school and been together for a decade and in Madison words “still obsessed” with each other 💕💕💕 Between the two of them and their guests they shot the whole celebration on film so we’ll have to wait a couple weeks to see how it turned out!
BYO record player (especially when you surprise your freshly hitched wifey with a custom made vinyl) is a-ok with us ⚡️ Highly encouraged in fact 💃🏻🪩
Taylia & Bailey 💘 These two ditched their big wedding plans (even though they’d already got the date, venue etc. locked in) and got hitched at Rebel Rebel instead, showing us all its totally OK to change your mind and actually have the wedding YOU both really want! They made it official on a weekday evening, had a cheeky first look down the laneway, before walking down the aisle together, with their immediate fam and closest friends cheering them on! They popped champagne, gorged on honeycake (Baileys one non-negotiable was for wedding cake!) then carried on the party with all their other guests on the rooftop bar - JOB DONE! Chin chin lovers!

AMY & MITCH 🖤 These two darlings rocked their Rebel Rebel wedding, with their gorgeous kiddos and immediate family for their beautiful ceremony led by ⚡️⚡️ They started off getting ready separately, with a gorgeous first look at UWA before arriving at Rebel Rebel, where Amy’s dad walked her down the aisle 💘 Their ceremony was so fun and heartfelt, topped off with fizz and cake and celebrations in Cupids Corner before kicking on to meet their extended fam and friends at a fave bar around the corner afterwards! Beautiful day for a beautiful fam! 💕💕💕

BEC & DAVE 💘💘💘 These two hunnies renewed their vows and had the wedding day they’d always wanted…. 3 years after tying the knot during the first 2020 Covid lockdown, with only Bec’s Dad and their celebrants husband as their witnesses. There was no gown, no flowers, no walking down the aisle and no guests other than their two witnesses when they made it legal first time round. So this time it was part vow renewal, part the wedding they didn’t get to have originally! They had their gorgeous kids (all 5 of them… Bec is literally Supermum), Dave’s parents and brother all the way from Ireland and Bec’s Dad, as well as their friend/ original celebrant lead their heartfelt ceremony. They had their walk-down-the-aisle moment, they got glammed up, and included speeches within their ceremony, which had tears and laughs in equal measure! Then onto the obligatory cake and fizz to celebrate afterwards, and a loved-up stroll around the streets of Northbridge ⚡️⚡️ An absolute honour for us to host their day, part two! 💘
Lauryn & Jakob 💘💘 These two sneaky souls got hitched the day before their ‘engagement’ party with just their immediate fam, and surprised everyone by rocking up and announcing they’d actually already got hitched! They didn’t compromise on what they wanted from their ceremony - fun and colourful with emphasis on family and faith - and gorgeous delivered the most perfect ceremony for them! We seriously loooooved welcoming these two and their lovely families into Rebel Rebel to celebrate their union! 💘
MEL & CHERRIE 💘 These two honeys made it official with a super bright and fun Monday afternoon wedding ceremony with just their immediate family celebrating with them! It was full of soooo much love and laughter (and balloons and confetti) and a very well stocked esky on wheels to keep everyone hydrated 😜 Both of them wanted to keep their day just about the two of them, super chill, without missing out on the fun, which is what they got 💘💘💘 Their gorg photographer captured the love fest at Rebel Rebel, before a jaunt around Northbridge then left them to celebrate just the two of them with their mini honeymoon at Crown! Bloody ideal if you ask us!
STEPH & TROY 💘💘 Our latest rebel lovebirds to sneak in for a secret Vegas style elopement! And they brought with them just one VIP guest…. Their feline friend Cleocatra 🐈⬛ A secret elopement totally suits them after meeting at work years ago and keeping the early days of their relationship a secret from their workmates for months (even after Steph was convinced Troys name was actually Tony 🤣) These two had a fuss free proposal - Steph was in her PJs after a mammoth six hr drive home, when Troy popped the questions, before they went out to celebrate with drinks and a kebab for dinner! They described their ideal day spent together would be one while camping - waking up on their old Toyota Coaster bus, breaky on the BBQ, a stroll along the beach and some afternoon drinks and a pint on the races! They kept their elopement just as simple which we looove to see - just the two of them, Cleocatra, a coupla Bush Chook tinnies, some Northbridge bar hopping then of to the casino - HOW IDEAL! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Such a bloody pleasure to be their official witnesses and to receive such kind words from them on honeymoon: “Perfect is not even a good enough word to describe Rebel Rebel! Absolutely stunning venue, AMAZING hosts, Kitty & Charlotte are so wonderful! We wanted a stress free simple wedding day and it was perfect. They were even so accommodating allowing us to bring our cat along for photos! If you’re undecided on jetties married here, the answer is yes. DO IT!” 💘🥹
CHANTELLE & DANIEL 💘💘💘 These two sneaky lovers eloped in secret at Rebel Rebel last month, on the anniversary of their engagement…. a year to the day since Daniel proposed to Chan at the beach while they were eating fish n chips! They planned to come to Perth for a night at Crown Towers on that anniversary - a cute engagement gift they’d not yet used! Then decided to elope Vegas style while they were up in Perth, celebrated with Fireball shots across the road at The Brass Monkey afterwards before soaking up a luxurious night at Crown before they announced their elopement a few days later when they were back home! Their ceremony was super sweet, with beautiful vows shared between the two of them, then the tearjerker when Chan shared vows with Daniels son Luca 😭 Such a sweet day and so bloody great to see these two choose to focus just on each other without the big shabang!
The absolute best thing about our job is undoubtably the people! The couples we see getting hitched and the legends we work with! Soooo so grateful for the amazing women in the wedding industry that showcased their talents at our open day last weekend, and all the incredible women who came before them - we fckn love you all, you talented bunch! And we are equally grateful for all the couples who take the time to enquire with us, make it down to our open days, chat with us and let us get excited about how your days could roll! And of course the couples that lock it in at Rebel Rebel - you’ve got a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to host all your glorious little weddings and get those initials up in Cupids Corner!!

Byron & Tess 💘💘💘 Absolute love fest this Valentines Day with these two lovebirds tying the knot in front of their closest peeps, including their two adorable kiddos! We had our gorg pal over from Sydney to make it official and she delivered the most gorgeous ceremony for these two with plenty of surprise Kath & Kim references peppered throughout that had these two cracking up! They both shared heartfelt personal vows with each other… with Byron getting the whole room teary as he read some words and poems he’d written about Tess in his notebook since their first date 😭😭😭 These two are so funny and so adorable together - absolute seeing groom Byron leaving Rebel Rebel juggling a pram, a baby bag, balloons and the most ginormous cake box we’ve ever seen! They celebrated with drinks at our fave before checking into a city hotel and heading for a pub dinner to cap off the celebrations! Chefs kiss!! 🌹💃🏻💋
Shamiah & Tom 💘🥂🌹⚡️
These two cuties made it official after nine years, three cities and two kids together! They got engaged at Australia Zoo whilst on a fam holiday…. Between a fussy baby, a toddler eager to see the next animals, and a couple of crocodiles, Tom popped the question! They decided they wanted a no fuss wedding so opted to do it in secret, in the afternoon before their ‘engagement’ part at Badlands Bar later that night! Just Toms brother, Shamiahs sister and their two best mates, the six of them had an afternoon that was equal parts high energy fun and laid back chilled vibes! The energy of Shamiah and her gals is INFECTIOUS…. Paired with their wedding day playlist of Katy Perry, The Killers and Panic At The Disco…. (as well as lot we’ve never heard of tbh 🤣) It was a fckn VIBE!! After their ceremony with us at Rebel Rebel, they turned up just hitched, fashionably late to surprise all their friends and fam at Badlands… swipe to see their grand entrance!

Elise & John 💘💘 (and their gorgeous girls!) These two had the most glorious celebration with a 10 year anniversary vow renewal here at Rebel Rebel! They had just their closest fam and friends on a sunny Sunday afternoon, to celebrate with a fun lighthearted ceremony led by one of their best friends, where their two daughters could see Mum & Dad get married again! Their two girls stole the show (SO adorable) and they sweetly announced they have a third daughter on the way! We absolutely love vow renewals - relationships change and grow and evolve so much over the years and it’s really special and really important (in our humble opinions) to rewrite those vows and commitments to each other along the way! It’s also such a fun way to have ‘another wedding’ - probably one a lot different to the original or maybe the type of wedding you wished you’d had! So if you wished you got hitched in Vegas, it’s not too late to do it again with a vow renewal, without having to leave Perth!

Perth designer aka queen of the bow, will be showcasing a number of her creations at our upcoming open day! Sally’s new collection has the CUTEST selection of gown and minidresses, perrrrfect for a Rebel Rebel city elopement! She’s such a talent who also designs and hand-makes the most incredible couture gowns, featuring beautiful lace and hand sewn beading ⚡️
This is the first time we’ve had a bridal designer on board PLUS we’re part of the bigger Perth City Wedding Open Day, featuring another 18 venues across the CBD and Northbridge! And Northbridge is the perfect spot to do it… Sooo many beautiful options of where to spend your day celebrating, indoors getting cosy with a just hitched cocktail at one of our fave neighbourhood bars (these two opted for the Alex Hotel!), you’ve got the bookshop or the record store for some photos, the tatt shop across the streets if you’re so inclined, burger joints, pizza joints, games arcades, the museums, mini golf, ice cream shops, wine bars…. Which all make for an amazing day hanging with your boo and are ideal for some cute AF pics!!
