Black and white was the theme chosen by Vanessa and Wayne for their wedding at Loxley on Bellbird Hill. Surrounded by black clouds the rain held off long enough for the couple to say ‘I do’ on the terrace. It was a fun filled wedding and Vanessa certainly was a ‘Princess Bride’ as was her dream.
Wishing this gorgeous couple love, laughter and happily ever after.

Another lovely couple tied the knot in a short and simple ‘legals only’ wedding ceremony on Saturday 23rd March.
William and Annaliese requested a ‘no frills, no fuss just the bare necessities’ ceremony in their courtyard with their closest family present. Lovely to reconnect once again with Annaliese – this time on a happy occasion.

It's always lovely to catch up with couples I have previously married.
So it was a surprise to meet up with Tammy and Chris at Auburn Botanic Gardens last Saturday.

Beautiful couple, and a beautiful wedding which was celebrated at Auburn Botanic Gardens.
Elizabeth and Steven chose the Japanese Gardens to exchange vows, rings, promises and kisses on a picture perfect autumn day in March.
I’m sure their lives will be filled with lots of love and laughter.

Laura and Jesse said ‘I Do’ at Megalong Creek Estate on the 24.02.24 in the presence of family and friends. With the most amazing views it was a perfect rustic setting for this relaxed couple.

In the presence of their 6 beautiful children and family and friends, Amanda and Brendan exchanged vows and rings
at Castlereagh on Thursday 25th January. After extreme heat the cloudy but humid day was a blessing and will result in some beautiful professional photos.
Such a pleasure to journey with this lovely couple and I wish them all the very best for their future happiness.

What a wonderful Name Day celebration it was for Saige Mila Fay and her proud family and friends on Saturday 6th January at Jordan Springs. The ceremony, which had been postponed due to Covid, included a Sand Ceremony and many good wishes for this cheeky little munchkin.
Such a beautiful family and a delight to be part of their celebration.

As we reflect at the end of another year and many weddings and celebrations under our belts I just wanted to give a big shout out to my wonderful husband and roadie Geoff.
Geoff works quietly in the background setting up, taking photos and ensuring that the music, PA and microphones are all working to ensure a smooth ceremony.
He is often called upon to act as a witness, adjust floral arrangements, pin on boutonniere, fill in at rehearsals and is often heard giving the bride and bride’s maids some tips on how to walk, where to stand and how to carry their flowers. Sometimes he even wears the same shirt as one of the guests and enjoys a cheeky swing to relax after the wedding!!!!
We work as a team, meet some beautiful people, see some wonderful places and together we try to create an atmosphere where the bride, groom and bridal party feel relaxed and stress free.
Thank you Geoff I couldn’t do what I do without you!

Proud parents, family and friends gathered recently to celebrate Charlie’s Name Day and First Birthday. His first trip around the sun!
The ceremony included a Rocket Ship Sand Ceremony which involved some very special people in Charlie’s life.
Thanks to this lovely family for inviting me to celebrate with them … it was such a delight for me and a ‘double delight’ to meet up with some very special couples whom I’ve married and named their children.

The party was held at the Jamison Hotel and attended by family and friends.

Congratulations to Ade and Mathew who were married in the Japanese Garden on the banks of the Nepean River on Saturday 18th November.
The Flower Girls and the Ring Bearer took their roles very seriously …. especially the bubble blowing!

With a touch of Celtic and South African music and dance Leonie and Brendan certainly take the prize for the best bridal party entrance.
The slight shower of rain during the procession didn’t stop them or take the smiles off their faces.
Leonie and Brendan were married at The Weir on the banks of the Nepean River on Saturday 4th November.

Congratulations to Paige and Trent who were happily married at Hawkesbury Function Centre on Saturday 21st October.
It was such a hot afternoon and the ‘beer boys’ were very welcome as we started the proceedings.
The couple’s children were a highlight with the wedding cart announcing “Daddy, here comes Mummy’

It was a very warm spring day for Amy and Sean as they exchanged vows and rings at Machattie Park in Bathurst on the 16th September.
I have lost count of the number of times I have officiated at Life Celebrations for this beautiful family…. hopefully more to come! Sorry I missed getting a photo of all the little kids involved – they were just gorgeous! Professional photos by Melissa Kauter.

Friday 15th September was an absolutely beautiful spring morning as Erika and Simon confirmed their love and commitment to each other under the shade of the gracious Napalese Alder tree in the wedding garden at Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens.

It was a great celebration for Chloe Isabelle’s Name Day/First Birthday on Sunday 6th August at Valley Heights. This is the seventh happy occasion I have celebrated with this beautiful family…. all gorgeous girls! These included two weddings, Name Days for Chloe’s sisters Lucy and Ellie, cousins Hayley and Leah and then of course it was Chloe’s turn! Chloe looked absolutely beautiful in the family heirloom Christening Robe which has been worn by 11 children; the first 66 years ago.
The ceremony had the works: a candle lighting, rock wishes, time capsule and a tree to commemorate this special occasion.
There’s a lot of love for this little munchkin.

The bride surprised the groom by arriving on a Clydesdale for their wedding at Tench Reserve on the banks of the Nepean River on Friday 14th July.
Deanne and Troy said ‘I Do’ surrounded by family and friends on an absolutely glorious winter’s day.
They were also blessed with not only one but two Celebrants. I was delighted to share the ceremony with family friend Helena Carty.

Elias celebrated his ‘first trip around the sun’ with a combined Name Day/First Birthday party. 70 guests gathered at Glenmore Park to wish him well. The ceremony was topped off with a Rocket Ship Sand Ceremony. Wishing Elias blessings for life and many more trips around the sun.

Layne and Brendon met as high school sweethearts and 13 years later on their special anniversary they said “I Do” in the presence of their three beautiful children, family and friends.
The wedding was held at Wilberforce on the most perfect winter’s day. The ceremony also included a father and bride dance and of course the couple’s first dance as MR & MRS.

Out of the sun shine it was absolutely freezing at Mount Tomah for Gian and Edward’s wedding on Sunday 7th May.
However, the cold and even the slight shower of sleet and snow didn’t dampen this couple’s spirits as they stood beneath the gracious Napalese Alder tree and exchanged vows and rings.
Witnessed by family and friends the wedding was held at the beautiful Botanic Gardens with panoramic views of the Blue Mountains.

It was a beautiful autumn’s day for Madeline and Penelope’s Name Day at Nurragingy Reserve Doonside on Saturday 6th May.
A sand ceremony was included in the ceremony and with four Godparents for each girl they are sure to feel the love and support in the years to come.
Saturday was also Coronation Day so it was appropriate to crown the girls and big sister Bella princesses for a day! Congratulations!

It was so lovely to catch up once again with this gorgeous family for another happy occasion.
This occasion was Leeroy’s Name Day/1st Birthday celebration which was held at his Great Grandparent’s home in Mount Victoria.
Leeroy looked splendid in his Grandmother’s Christening robe but as you can see by the photos he had mixed emotions about all the fuss.
