Come along to a great afternoon at Wollongong Salvation Army fundraising to support Music Ministries in the Salvation Army Kenya East Territory. Bands In The Round is on Saturday 18th November at 2pm. It’s going to be an enjoyable afternoon hearing from lots of different brass bands!

Such a fantastic weekend at Wollongong Salvos with our special visitors, the Geelong Salvation Army Band. We had a great Saturday night concert featuring Geelong Band and musical items from the Wollongong Band, Learner Brass and Songsters.
Another awesome day today with Geelong Band leading our morning worship and finishing the afternoon with a Hymnfest with both bands combined.
What a special weekend of praise, reflection and worship. ☝🏽

COMBINING FORCES TO LAUNCH RED SHIELD APPEAL 2022

The BlueScope Youth Orchestra will partner with the Wollongong Salvation Army Brass Band for the 2022 Red Shield Appeal concert on Saturday 14th May.
A tradition which began over 20 years ago, the community concert raises much needed funds for the region, in particular for The First Floor Program a community based drug and alcohol support service, and the Carinya Women and Children service which provides crisis accommodation.
Conducted by Nigel Edwards, the BlueScope Youth Orchestra will play a selection of film music, including Harry Potter, Star Wars, James Bond, La La Land, Beauty and the Beast and Pirates of the Caribbean.
The Wollongong Salvation Army Brass Band, conducted by Joe McIver will present a mix of traditional marches, big band, and reflective pieces for the concert.
Tickets available on the night - at the doors of the Salvation Army (11-13 Burelli St Wollongong) $5-15.
