Grown out Manicure! This tip is especially for people like me who will get there nails done every 2-3 weeks! It was such a developed habit and then the quarantine happened! So I just thought of this hack to not to hate my nails through this quarantine!
Step1: File the nail to the desired length.. please use a nail filler not nail clipper especially if you have gel nails. Nails are very thick with the gel coating already and if you use clippers it can crack! I would go a little short than usual just because I don’t know when I will get my nails done next🤷♀️
Step2: Push the cuticle with a pusher or the back of nail clippers or even a spoon 🥄 (Yes it does the job)
Step3: File the raised part of the gel polish at the bottom enough to match the original nail. Don’t do the front of the nail otherwise it will loose its shine or even the color altogether.
Step4: Taking a regular glitter nail polish create an ombre effect at the bottom. I choose glitter nail polish just because you will not notice the lines as much!
And that’s it! Enjoy your new manicure!
