Another essential member of our team, Sarah started with TEC last year and always brings a hard-working attitude and positive outlook to every event she is part of. We are so grateful to have her part of our growing team!

✈️ A world traveller at heart, Sarah is always planning her next big adventure!She love exploring new places and experiencing different cultures.

💍 Her favourite moment of a wedding day is when the couples share their personal vows, offering a glimpse into their amazing love story. This is always a reminder of why she loves being a part of these special occasions.

🍸 Sarah is a sucker for an espresso martini, but when she’s onsite at a wedding, she can’t resist a refreshing diet coke - the perfect pick-me-up during those long days on her feet!

🗻There’s nothing she enjoys more than escaping to the mountains for a hike

💒 Sarah has been part of over 23 weddings so far and is looking forward to a busy summer of weddings ahead!

Aimee has been an essential member of our team since joining TEC last year, bringing a positive attitude and contagious smiles to every project. Her knack for making others laugh is truly unmatched and we love her for that!

Here are a few fun facts to get to know Aimee a little better:

🏋️‍♀️ She is a strength training enthusiast! Pumping iron is her kind of therapy – strong body, strong mind! 💪

💖 Her favorite wedding day moment is watching the bride stroll down the aisle, surrounded by her loved ones. She also loves soaking in all those picture-perfect decor moments!

☕🍹 Whether it’s a cozy evening or a celebratory night, you’ll find her sipping on a comforting hot tea latte or indulging in a well-crafted gin cocktail.

Meet Saaraa! ✨

Co-founder of The Event Crew and Founder of Blush & Co. Weddings and Events ().

Inspired by her own wedding, Saaraa made the decision to enter the events industry while also working as a petroleum geologist at a prominent oil & gas company for eight years. She decided to devote herself to running her business full-time as her passion for weddings and the expansion of her business both continued to grow, and has successfully carried out 72 weddings to date.

Saaraa thrives on building meaningful and long lasting relationships- not only with her clients, but with her industry peers and vendors she can’t wait to share her knowledge, expertise and passion for the wedding and events world with you all!

This past week we had the pleasure of attending the Women + Wealth gala thanks to our wonderful friends at The Brownstone YYC and Venue 308 and WOW, what a night!

We listened, we felt heard, we laughed, we cried, we shared stories and most of all, we certainly left the event feeling inspired as we embark on this new venture together.

One of favourite takeaways of the night was shared by Joanna Griffiths, founder and CEO of Knix, which was “when all else fails, never underestimate the power of a good pump up song”. So...in the spirit of sharing our go-to pump up songs...check ours out below:

We were destined to become friends when we first met three years ago at the height of the pandemic, and were inspired to someday join forces to fill a void in the industry - and here we are!
