Join us on a journey of joy, pain, horror, fear, hunger and poverty as The Pinner rises up from an uncut lawn to a very narrow hideout nestled deep into the Kootenay mountain range of the Canadian Rockies.

2013 - Before the house was here we needed to drop the shed and a couple trees. When "Medusa" was dropped I'll never forget the collective cheer as my neighbours got their view back and sun on their gardens for the first time in 60 years.

Winter walk around The Pinner.

A great lightning storm just rolled in. Have a listen.

Your parking has been cleared.

Front yard dreams. Anything sucky about it? There's a fence that plops on the forward walls. Figured if all that concrete is getting poured... mayswell put a tub in.

Got the concrete block wall done. Just pulled all the boulders out of the other side. We're ready to create the masterpiece on the other side. I plopped some pipe under all the dirt and hope to get enough geothermal out of it to melt the snow off the side walkway. We'll see how that works out....
