We believe that life is a journey, and it has taken us to alot of places around the world since me and my husband started a family of our own, and our Journey in Canada started with New Brunswick, and we took Fredericton as our first home❤️ We've lived here for almost 4 years amongst the most wonderful and supportive people we could ever wish for, we've had our small business and we've enjoyed seeing it grow on every step of the way with your love and support 😍 We had to stop for sometime due to my health situation, and now, our family, our small tribe, has to follow the leader (my husband) in pursuing his career aspiration and move on to our next stop which is Ontario.
FREDERICTON ❤️ We can't thank you enough for all the love, warmth and support you've showered our family with, we've never ever felt like strangers, it felt like we've always been here ❤️ Fredericton/New Brunswick will always be our home in Canada and we will always carry the wonderful memories we had here dearly in our hearts, until we meet again as it's never goodbye ❤️ We hope we've made some of you happy on a gloomy day, and we hope we've given you as much beautiful memories as you've given us❤️ We're lucky and grateful to have lived amongst you folks!....lots of love and wonderful wishes...till we meet again ❤️🥰

It made me happy so I thought I should share it with you guys 😁
Was just trying to get back in the Kitchen a couple of days ago and decided to bake some Focaccia with sundried tomatoes, thyme and extra virgin olive oil for the family and it turned out yummy 😋. The next day I find Chef Vincenzo has baked a similar one, he even used a round pan like I did, so I sent him my photo and he liked it 🥰😁 Now I feel happy, motivated and charged with lots of positive energy to get back to work....Soon 🤗

It's been a long time since we've last interacted here, we've been away since October, we had to travel to Egypt as I had to get some urgent health check ups and surgery done. All is better now 🙏 and we came back home last month. We are sorry to announce that we won't be able to take any orders YET since I am still in the recovery phase from the surgery, but SOON I will be back in the kitchen and will definitely let you all know!
Wish you and your loved ones a wonderful year ahead full of good health, great wealth, showered in love and blessings, and may ALL your hopes and dreams for this year come true. Stay safe ❤

On this Canada Day, more than ever, we are challenged to decide what we want our country to be. NBMC is honoured to play a role, along with its member agencies, in welcoming newcomers to shape the future of our communities and to celebrate with all the families and individuals who chose to call Canada home this past year. We also celebrate the work being done by so many individuals and organizations to create a more inclusive country for everyone.

But we also express our genuine sorrow at the suffering we are uncovering more and more each day.

Today, we need to look back on the wrongs that have scarred our history and mourn the losses brought about by colonial racism, and to create new ways forward to begin to redress the wrongs of the past.

We need to learn our true history so that we can forge fresh paths that ensure First Nations, newcomers, racialized people, and so many others that have been physically and socially dispossessed are given their true and rightful place in this country that we continue to form and reform every day.

We therefore call on all Canadians as part of this day to learn about our past and current systemic racism, and to advocate for actions such as those put forward by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (http://trc.ca/assets/pdf/Calls_to_Action_English2.pdf) as a blueprint to move forward and rebuild Canada as a nation truly founded on equity and inclusion for all.

En cette fête du Canada, plus que jamais, nous sommes mis au défi de décider ce que nous voulons que notre pays soit. Le CMNB est honoré de jouer un rôle, avec ses agences membres, dans l'accueil des nouveaux arrivants pour façonner l'avenir de nos communautés et célébrer avec toutes les familles et les personnes qui ont choisi de s'installer au Canada l'année dernière. Hi everyone!! It's been a long time eh?!! We've got news for you, we have unfortunatley SOLD our truck due to the difficulties I (Sherry) have been facing in order to operate it steadily. BUT we're not done yet!!! We're still keeping our name and business and will be providing CATERING and SPECIAL MEALS ORDERS for the time being, and you might see us out again in a different way 😉!!

One of the most powerful unions in New York City in the 1960s was the Bagel Bakers Local 338. They made far more money than engineers, policemen, and teachers at that time. If they went on strike, bagels simply weren’t available since the making process hadn’t been automated yet.

An Egyptian Street food mostly sold in winter, you will find many food carts serving Halabessa if you are taking a walk by the Nile river or the Sea in Alexandria. It is a warming and nutritious soup that everyone loves in Egypt and we prefer it spiced up with some chilli. This is my own recipe and how I like to eat it, hope you enjoy the video ❤

I have always been a big fan of SALT, it's even a part of our brand name 😁 not only as a food ingredient, but also for it's healing powers, it is known to be an antibacterial and antiseptic, it allows healing to take place in conditions such as eczema, acne, or psoriasis. It also helps improve blood circulation. Salt bowls and salt lamps are even believed to remove and cleanse negative energy from homes!
I found my Salt paradise in Egypt's Siwa Oasis, it is such a wonderful place where nature is so pure, and you're surrounded with palm and olive trees 😍 Most hotels in Siwa use minimum Electricity and they rely on candles for light. The primitive life you will be living there will give you a chance to detox your body and soul, meditate, clear up your mind and re-energize🧘‍♀️ Soaking your body in the Salt lakes is so beneficial and perhaps grabbing a few rocks for a Salt bowl ❤
It was a wonderful experience and we would love and hope to repeat it again after the pandemic is over 🤞.

Inspired by the Libyan "Mebakbaka" pasta, my own version of Egyptian Soujouk (beef sausage) Mebakbaka for tonight's supper...hot and spicy, tangy with a sprinkle of lemon zest, refreshing with some fresh mint and cilantro, simply a flavor bomb that is so warming in this cold weather😋❤
