There is nothing more exciting than hopping on a plane and jetting off to your destination wedding. 💭

First things first: you’ve got to pack and your wedding attire is PRECIOUS cargo!

You’ll want to keep your attire in a garment bag throughout travel, and it’s important you use one that’s waterproof.

Do not check your dress! Carry it on. You don’t want to run the risk of your dress being lost in transit, and you’ll have much more peace of mind being the one handling your dress throughout travel.

Some airlines offer you to hang the dress in their storage closet or they have a special section for wedding attire.

While working with us, these are small details that you don’t need to worry about, we find solutions and offer our support checking with airlines, ensuring a smooth journey for you!

How far in advance should you book your destination wedding? We get this question A LOT…🗓

Typically, there are two different phases for planning a destination wedding – the first is to book your resort and travel and the second is to plan the big day! It’s important to give your guests plenty of time to make their travel arrangements so we recommend securing your group bookings approximately 12-15 months in advance.

However, we always tell our couples that although we can make recommendations based on our experience, ultimately you know your guests best and so what we recommend here might be different than what you require for your situation!
