Company 605’s Winter Intensive is coming up quick!
Dec 11-15th - 10am-4pm daily

Rather than bringing more intensity at this moment, we’ve curated a special (less) intensive to complete our year valuing ease and presence, connection and care, while bringing some amazing artists together to share their practices alongside ours, including Alexa Solveig Mardon, Andrea Cownden, Andrea Nann, Michelle Olson, and Rina Pellerin, with some classes having live sound by the one and only Matthew Tomknison.

As usual, we are open to those who wish to drop-in, join for what you’re able to, and PWYC to remove barriers.

Co-Presented by SFU Woodward's in partnership with SFU School for the Contemporary Arts.

Schedule and Accessibility Document are on our site.

We hope you will help share and spread the opportunity to others who could use a less intense transition of moving into the holiday season! Thank-you

VANCOUVER TURKISH FILM FESTIVAL

This year, the festival will take place on SFU Goldcorp Centre November 24th and 26th, 2023.
Screenings will be in Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema at SFU’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts on November 24th – 26th, 2023.

As a “melting pot” of many cultures for thousands of years, the land of modern Turkey has so much to offer from a cultural sense, and the 10th Annual Vancouver Turkish Film Festival is one of the ways to share Turkey’s multicultural heritage with the residents of Metro Vancouver.

The success of Turkish cinema has been quite notable in the last few decades. The VTFF has also been a community partner to some of the Turkish films that premiered at the Vancouver international Film Festival in Vancouver.
