A crowd gathered this past Saturday for a CBC News open panel in the Woodwards Courtyard to talk about issues facing the Downtown Eastside: homelessness, addiction and poverty.

The Woodward's Annual Brunch is just days away!! We are extremely thrilled to be hosting it again and cannot wait to see you all this Saturday!
The brunch is free-of-charge for all who want to eat, and this year there is an option to donate to PHS Community Services Society. If you are unable to be there in person but would still like to help out, please visit: https://www.phs.ca/index.php/donate/
The menu for this year includes pancakes, bacon, JJ Bean Coffee and lots and lots of entertainment! Children's activities include a bouncy castle and face painting sponsored by TD Canada Trust. Cassandra Bangel from Siegel Entertainment will be providing live music.
