Transition: As we collectively near the beginning of our next revolution around the sun, I wanted to share my personal and musical intention for the days ahead.

The theme of transition is very fitting for the winter solstice and the new year, as they both mark the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. The winter solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year, when the sun reaches its lowest point in the sky. Following this period of darkness, cold, stillness, and reflection; we are presented with an opportunity to start fresh, to leave behind what no longer serves us, and to embrace what inspires us. The winter solstice is celebrated by many cultures around the world, with rituals and traditions that honor the return of the light and our life-giving sun.

My intention is to encapsulate the essence of transition in my music, by creating a contrast between the old and the new, the dark and the light, the cold and the warm. An homage to the beauty of nature, the ingenuity of humanity, and the optimism of the future. Join me in embracing and celebrating the turning of a leaf, the rebirth of our sun, the reflection in our hearts, and the promise of a bright new year.
