A pre concert took place yesterday afternoon at the @coralbeachhotelcy with the acclaimed Russian pianist Igor Andreev.
The eagerly awaited new season of the Technopolis 20 Classics concert series begins tonight, Friday, 13/9, with an extraordinary solo piano performance by @igorandreev.piano at Markidion Theatre, at 8pm.
The concert will feature a diverse programme, beginning with works by A. Scriabin, including three of his notable piano sonatas & will continue with compositions by F. Liszt, including his transcriptions of songs from Schubert's "Schwanengesang" & the "Grandes études de Paganini".

On Tue, 16/7 at 8pm, Technopolis20 welcomes in its garden, the Cyprus-based music group Rumba Attack featuring the soprano Mariza Anastasiades.
Enjoy them performing original instrumental material as well as select covers in their distinctive Flamenco-Rumba style, blended with sounds from Middle Eastern & Greek origins, rock, & bossa nova.

Jazz sounds under the stars with two saxophones, a double bass, an electric guitar & drums!
One of the most established jazz musicians on island, Charis Ioannou (tenor saxophone) on stage with Aris Constantinou (electric guitar), Kyriakos Kestas (double bass), Marios Spyrou (drums) & Marios Staikidis (alto saxophone) presented the "Bebop Project". It draws inspiration from notable figures in the history of jazz music, particularly associated with the bebop era, combining their arrangements, with an emphasis on the playful synergy of the tenor & alto saxophones. 🎷🎷🎸🥁🎵

We celebrared the World Music Day 🎵, June 21st, with the Gaba Project ft Nicolas Tryphonos in our beautiful garden.
Vasilis Vasiliou on handpan & Christina Polycarpou on lyra performed their own compositions and shared with the audience new soundscapes, which result from the almost magical combination of the lyra with the handpan. They also performed compositions from several traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean, such as Armenian, Cypriot, Turkish, Greek and Bulgarian, but with a new and fresh approach and mood. The duet was joined this time by Nicolas Tryphonos on double bass.

The Alpine Brass Quintet features five virtuoso musicians: Immanuel Richter, principal trumpet of the Basel Symphony Orchestra; Laurent Tinguely, principal trumpet in the Zurich Opera Orchestra; Joan Bernat Sanchis, principal horn of the Zurich Opera Orchestra; Daniel Schädeli, principal tuba in the Berne Symphony Orchestra and the Gstaad Festival Orchestra and Vicente Climent Calatayud, principal trombone of the Bern Symphony Orchestra.
Join us for an evening steeped in history and musical excellence, set against the stunning backdrop of the ancient Odeon. As the sun sets, immerse yourself in a diverse programme spanning from vibrant South American rhythms to Baroque brilliance and Renaissance charm.
This unique event promises to be a celebration of music and heritage in this extraordinary setting.
Technopolis 20 presented the concert: «SIX & FIVE», a unique homage to the Greek Theatrical song took place on Tuesday, 4/6 at Markideion Theatre.
It was a collective initiative by young musicians, with the idea of presenting significant songs of the Contemporary Greek Theatrical Dramaturgy, with well- known and lesser-known pieces, presented with new orchestrations.
The concert presented an amalgamation of different music types of theatrical songs, which gained popularity throughout the years.
The choices of the songs are carefully selected, in order to feature the aforementioned topics, covering a wide range of repertoire, presenting works of well-known 20th and 21st century Greek composers (Hadjidakis, Theodorakis, Xarchakos, Karamouratides etc.)
The singer Katerina Paraschou and the actor Savvina Georgiou, were accompanied by a 7-members orchestra, orchestrated by composer Kyriakos Costa.
