Bringing back pre-pandemic times HAND experiences with a Legend from Chicago.
October 22nd we’ll be opening the floor to the one and only TRAXX (Nation). A moment we’ve been dreaming of for a long time now. Thinking of DJs as “artists” in the contemporary landscape of technology/social media propelled puppetry has always been a complicated subject, but coming to terms with understanding phenomenon such as Traxx aka The Visionary, puts these notions into genuinely new (yet old) perspectives. There will be no space for “dancefloor industry” compliance here - TRAXX will be the industry for this evening. An industry he calls “Vinyl Architecture”. Be there and go home closer to some form of truth you’ll never fully understand. Just about as real as it gets.
Dancefloor will be supported by local good folk , . Location wise, we’ll be going back to our humble beginnings far east in ZiegraStr. 11.
Capacity is limited, be there early !

Fake DJ Rolex had only been producing a few months when his friends noticed that the productions were amazingly professional and that they had just witnessed a great talent being born. Fake DJ Rolex started out with doing a remix of the theme music for the Commodore 64 game ‘Lazy Jones’, but decided to drop it as it inspired him to make his own ‘Lazy Lace’ - released almost immediately on Ding d**g Recordings.
Fake DJ Rolex was instantly fascinated with producing and spent many hours in his home studio creating one fresh tune after the next. Fake DJ Rolex never tried to get caught up in a specific sub-genre of house, but wanted to keep the productions up to date and innovative. His music is inspired by the likes of Laidback Luke, Steve Angello and Tocadisco, but also Daft Punk, Eric Prydz and that of Axwell. In April 2008, Fake DJ Rolex released the first big track, ‘Rolex Time’, on Pete B**g’s Bedroom Bedlam label after winning the Pete B**g Fast Trax. Fake DJ Rolex received an astonishing 70% of the votes and after the release and were contacted by numerous labels, promoters and booking agencies from all over the globe. Even Laidback Luke mentioned Fake DJ Rolex on his Myspace website saying: “[Fake DJ Rolex], by winning this competition, left many contesters behind in their dust. So a big CONGRATULATIONS to these brilliant DJs for winning the contest and all the luck with their future careers!”

H.A.N.D. 5 Year Anniversary - August 27th featuring DJ Checkmate 📈
Little is known about DJ Checkmate but to say that DJ Checkmate gives more than two flying f***s about “what people think” is an understatement – 0 f***s given – a man of few words, there are no interviews of DJ Checkmate to be found, possibly due to his limited abilities in speaking English, but the infamous words “Rook to your mother, Tomas!” are said to have been heard once in response to a track request from Tom Hanks at a beach club in Mykonos as he “scratch-style” mixed in Snap!'s “Rhythm is a Dancer” as an answer.

Catch him busting out deadly moves behind the decks this coming Saturday!
