Hi Rudi,

Wow what a start - I love camelphat and Be Someone is one of my favourite tracks. I read your comments and was expecting to hear an ok mix but man was I wrong - what are you talking about - you’re club ready for sure and if I was you I would be trying to take steps towards getting some live experience. Your phrasing was perfect, your transitions were right but the track selection and arrangement was world class. I have shared so many line ups with people that don’t even share half of your skills.

Diving a little deeper: I found your transitions to be really interesting - they were super tight (this points to setting cues - well done, this means playing the best parts of each track which means less downtime between transitions), and you have played a lot of hits which IMO this is a vital ingredient to playing live - this set in a club would have gone nuts. Trust me when paying in clubs you don't have ton be doing s**t all the time like you see on YT, it’s more about track selection and your flow was amazing!!

Sure I picked up on a few little mistakes (eg: perhaps bringing in new tracks a little harsh, and a couple of times the beat matching slipped slightly), but I don’t think the average person would even notice, people are more interested in track selection and flow and you are the master of this. I even liked your use of filters to emphasise ones!! As for the little mistakes you’re hearing (the person who makes the mix always hears them more than anyone else), you’ll find your skills will tighten every time you play, I think your best bet is to shoot first and develop your aim as you go and go for it!!

Without a doubt you're club ready. I really hope the course helped, you are a deadset legend and I am really excited to see what you can accomplish!!

Congrats you have successful passed and graduated from CRDJS with flying colours. I could not be happier!

May I ask have you checked out the student BIO builder in the student portal section? You should 100% start working on this as the next step is getting shows and the best way to do that is to start building content that you can send to venues (that ideally you have supported and built relationships with).
