Why 8 in March 8?
The day for maternity to community is 10 and the day for female baptized is 80 and the gap between 10 and 80 is eight times ten that is the why of eight.
But on the other hand choose any four consecutive even or odd numbers. (For example: 1, 3, 5, 7). multiply the two middle numbers together. (E.g. 3 x 5 = 15) Multiply the first and last numbers. (E.g. 1 x 7 = 7) Now subtract your second answer from the first. (e.g. 15 - 7 = 8) this is mathematical trick for children’s under 14 and all woman celebrating march 8 around the world is thinking like children under 14 because they celebrated the festivity of some community of the world. For example 98% of Ethiopian women still didn’t know the gender parity index of females to male in school enrolment, health care service, economic Share, political participation and others.
According to the World Bank and STATISTA report in 2021, Ethiopia had an overall gender gap index score of 0.69, placing it 97th out of 156 countries globally. During the period under review, gender disparity diminished slightly from 0.66 in 2016 to 0.71 in 2020, before slightly widening again in 2021. The index measures the discrepancy between genders in four different areas, namely economic participation and opportunity, educational attainment, health and survival, and political empowerment.
The only thing remain is the why of March 8. I don’t bother about it; why not Ethiopian females make it march 10.April 8 May 8 and so so….. Women in Ethiopia should relay on public mobilization and policy advocacy before celebrating the festivity of Russian and American women’s
