Hey there, lovely people! Noticed some new faces joining the journey lately, so I figured it’s time to say hello again!

I’m Eugenie, but you can call me Genia (seriously, I’ve answered to all sorts of variations over the years).

FloraLUXE officially came to life three years ago, but my love affair with flowers goes way back—I promised my mom I’d return to them some 20 years ago! After a career in cruises and yachting, managing superyachts, I finally realized my true calling was floral design. I’ve explored a multitude of floral styles, but I’m particularly drawn to new forms, colors, and textures while keeping things elegant.

Sustainability is a cornerstone of my ethos, so we work hard to minimize our footprint. No floral foam here, my friends! Fortunately my small dedicated team of designers is always ready to follow me in my sustainable practices.

But as passionate as I am about flowers, my two boys are my world. Thankfully, this floral journey allows me to be flexible and watch them grow.

Ode to the Japanese maple 🍁

I’ve been dreaming to plant it in the garden for a while already, because for me it represents a pure beauty of the season 🍂

Accompanied by stunning Copper Vienna mums with delicate tinted sweet peas, graphic garden dahlias and complementary sky blue delphiniums - they become very poetic, I should admit ✨

Baby, it’s cold outside! Time to warm up the grid with a bit of comfy hues.

Loved every bloom in this autumn bridal bouquet: from different varieties of cut in the garden dahlias to exquisite and foraged japanese maples, accented by a sprinkle of light pink nerines.

This warm colour palette felt so correct at those first colds in Strasbourg more than a month ago. As the South of France experiences its first cool temperatures only now, I'm reminded of the wonderful three days of learning, testing, and sharing. 🍁🌼🍂

What to do if you wish to make your wedding ceremony a unique one?

Instead of an arch or Medicis vases better choose an existing feature or a structure of you wedding venue and embellish it with flowers. It can be anything:

- a fountain
- a beautiful tree in the garden
- a staircase
- a pergola
- columns
- a window
- a balcony, etc…

Here is the example of the watering place dating the time of Templers at the , but it could easily be one of the arch openings of the cloister.
