Clematis is one of the most whimsy flower that provides movement in any designs. I have always been so drawn to it, maybe we have past-life connection. 🫶😅 Whenever the brides says their colour palette is pastel, I always make sure to pick this beauty.

While walking through the flower wholesaler this morning, my eyes stumbled upon this beautiful & delicate poppy, it’s official name is Papaver Oriental Poppy. As soon as I saw this beauty I knew I need to get them & have it next to me on my work desk ☺️ So here she is looking proud in the footed ceramic vase. 🌸

Lisianthus is also know as Japanese rose. It has beautiful unfurling blooms with multiple bell-shaped flowers. Lisianthus appears sweet & delicate but has a strong character, it lasts long and comes in many different colour. Definitely one of my favourite flowers for the wedding florals. 🌸

Meghan wanted her bouquet very romantic looking yet traditional. She really loved the idea of having just whites, so we incorporated all the different shades of whites like ivory, cream, porcelain & so forth. Meghan was very open with her flower choices and left it upto me to pick the flowers based on what she wanted to achieve. I went for the King of all flowers ‘Roses’. They are inextricably linked to romance & love.

My inspiration for this design was the
flower Anemones reading through a book I stumbled upon
- a Greek mythology about goddess Aphrodite. The
illustrious goddess of Love & Beauty could seduce any
lover including Ares the god of war & Adonis. Jealous of
her love for the beautiful mortal Adonis, Ares turned into a
boar & killed the man. Aphrodite cried over him, sprinkling
his blood with nectar & causing Anemones to spring out of
the ground around him. Aphrodites sacred flowers are
Roses & Anemones.
