Our Story
About Us. The first time we saw the magnificent entrance to the Harpur Centre in The Blore Tower back in 1999 we knew that with the right formula of quality and price we would be able to make a great florist business here. During the next seven years, some of you will remember, we built up a busy florist serving up magnificent bouquets, arrangements and tributes. We were invited, almost on a weekly basis to wedding receptions all over town and made many friends. We were proud to make a bouquet for the late and the great Nelson Mandela when he visited the town back in 2000. The first lady of Zambia , Vera Tembo, who invited me to stay at the presidential palace in Zambia was another regular recipient of our flowers. In 2007 we decided to sell up in Bedford although we had other outlets around the area. Much water has flown under the town bridge since then and things have changed. The Harpur Centre lost its florist in the summer of 2012 and the iconic spot has remained empty ever since. Fast forward to April 2014 and having gone in a full circle we are back. Things have changed, we got 3 more kids (that's 5 altogether) and a few more wrinkles. Some things, however, have stayed the same. Our commitment to serving our customers well and to provide a quality product remain our priority in everything we do. We relish the challenge and look forward to seeing our customer, both old and new at The Harpur Centre under the Blore tower in the town soon.
