Why AI? We are working to make things better for you.

We use AI for our pricing. Not all journeys are the same. A 2 mile journey in Bradford can take between 10 minutes or it can 30 minutes.

To keep the Fares low as possible without punishing the driver we use AI to calculate the best possible price for each journey. This means a 2 mile in to traffic areas may be slightly higher to ensure the driver is compensated for the loss of trips he would otherwise be doing.

We now use AI to make sure you can get booked in even if it’s a high demand time. This ensures the dispatch team can focus on dispatching and not booking. This means you don’t have to wait and ring again and again just to get through to someone. Holly is our AI dispatcher and she’s improving all the team. Machine learning is helping us get better at all areas of your trip experience.

Step by step guide to using your cash rewards on our app.

We give you cash rewards on EVERY trip you book via our app. You can download the app here appsend.me/247cars

When you have rewards the app will atomically ask you if you want to use them. Click the tick button if you want to. Rewards can be used for a free ride or a partial discounted ride.

The best way to use rewards is to pay by card in the app. The rewards are automatically calculated and your discount is applied. Cash rides may be confusing for drivers and riders as they have to be manually calculated.

You can register your card in app. It is encrypted and completely safe.

You can also pay by Apple Pay or Google Pay for your ride.

Your final payment is taken at the end which means your ride is almost always cheaper! The hold on your card is removed when the ride ends and you’re only charged for the ride itself.

You can check your rewards balance after every ride.

We’re the only taxi company that rewards its users with cash back!

Our Fares have NOT increased. We are £3.50 1st mile at all Times.

With UNPRECEDENTED road traffic and road CLOSURES more and more drivers are deciding not to work in rush hours.

247 Cars now charge Journey Time to encourage drivers to change their minds and log in. 99% of journeys will remain the same fare however not all journeys are the same.

A 2 mile journey at PEAK rush hour can take a driver 55 minutes/1 hour from accepting to completion. If a driver charges £5 for an hour of his time at Rush Hour he will not work rush hour again. As Drivers are Self Employed they are choosing to work for company’s that are sympathetic to this problem and are adequately compensated.

We understand the need to know your fare before travelling and this feature is being worked on to be much more accurate. Please ask the operator for an estimate if you’re unsure.

Journey Time will also replace waiting time charges which means your fare will ALWAYS be on Display. Do NOT pay what’s not displayed.

We do NOT charge extra for card payments. Every Car has a card machine otherwise it can not accept a trip. We are also implementing link payments as a back up payment service which allows you to pay at beginning, during, or at the end of the ride.

We hope more drivers are available at rush hour and service times are lowered as a result.
