Thanks to everyone who came to our National Garden Scheme open day at Treberfydd yesterday - we had more than 240 visitors, and £1,775 was raised for NGS charities.

Thanks also to for providing the refreshments (an amazing spread of cakes, scones and drinks), to the music ensemble, and the volunteers on the ticket desk ☀️

The itinerary included daily Pilates and meditation, a house tour and farm walk, guided hillwalking, a foraging and story walk by , and a mindful art workshop by .

Come along to our NGS day on Sunday 18 May, when Treberfydd House and gardens will be open for charity under the National Garden Scheme.

There will be tours of the house, music and teas in the garden by .

Greetings cards by .gervis will be on sale, and a selection of bedding plants.

There are maps for self-guided walks around the garden and down to St Gastyn’s church, by Llangorse lake.

will also be open next door.

12.30pm-5.30pm, entry £6.50, house tours £2.50. No booking required. Bring a picnic, dogs on leads welcome. See you there!

The house and gardens will also be open from Monday 12 May until Monday 26 May inclusive, 1pm-5pm daily, with tours and teas available - see website for details.

H&H at Treberfydd House ✨

What an absolute joy & privilege to photograph this beautiful wedding last Saturday; relaxed weekend celebrations sharing activities, feasts & drinks in the most glorious Welsh countryside surrounded by only their closest friends & families. What a lovely way to celebrate the start of their commitment & exciting future life together which hopefully will be just like their wedding day: full of love, laughter, joy & happiness (and no doubt great food & many cocktails ✨)

Lambing is under way - 243 are expected, with 19 born so far. This is Felicity, the first bottle-fed lamb of the season.

Last week, Molly’s Wagon had a facelift and got a new view. She’s been repainted, and the alpacas and goats have moved into the fields opposite where they are enjoying new grass and hawthorn. The sunshine continues!

The arrival of these gorgeous White Galloways, owned by Heloise Trott, brightened up a grey afternoon - they got their noses straight into the hay. Great to have cows back at Treberfydd. We are looking forward to some calves, due from April onwards!
