Welcome to the South Glos Music Hub page. The Music Hub is part funded by Arts Council England to create more opportunities for children and young people to get involved in music. Here in South Gloucestershire, we offer individual, small group and whole class vocal and instrumental teaching in schools for thousands of children a week. Our music centres provide an excellent progression pat
hway to develop ensemble playing. We run a variety of singing workshops in primary and secondary schools. We create memorable events such as our Carol Service at Clifton Cathedral and our Gala Concert at the Colston Hall
We work in partnership with organisations such as the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. The South Gloucestershire Music Hub serves to create the very best opportunities for children and young people to get involved in music making.

2024/25 funding available; applications close in 2 weeks - apply now!
Future Talent offer a fantastic programme of activity and financial support for talented young musicians who cannot afford to access lessons, instrument purchase or other opportunities.
Several West of England students were successful in their application for support last year, and we'd love to have more students from our region benefitting from Future Talent's support.
They have just launched their 2024/25 application process. If you, or someone you know, would benefit from their support, please take a look at their website.
We're really keen to get lots of applications from the West of England region so we can support and enhance their offer, so please take a look today.

So… the students at South Glos. Senior Music Centre did a thing tonight…
The students at South Glos. Senior Music Centre took part in a Vocal workshop this evening led by the fabulous Tim Parker with the aim of helping them to have more confidence in their vocal ability and how to look after their voices.
We had a quiet morning at Warmely today due to the snow, so the Wind Orchestra spent some of the morning split into groups making up their own ‘weather piece’!
They had to work in teams and come up with a 4 bar piece that represented a type of weather. The rest of the group then had to guess….! Have a look at the videos in the comments and see if you can guess any?!
Music Centres open as usual for those who can travel safely.
We are very excited about the upcoming residential. We are now taking bookings from late applicants for French Horns, Bassoons, Oboes, Tuba and Strings.
