general kitchen assistant needed

hours will be needed to cover staff holidays and demand which would be 9.00am - 2.30pm monday to friday when needed and hours will depend on demand of business.
no experience needed but would be advantageous, must have own transport and uniform is provided. good rates of pay, holiday pay also pro rata.

Independent well established contract catering company is looking to expand our small team and need a new chef to work with our head chef.

The hours are Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 3.00pm. Uniform is provided.

The role involves working closely with the head chef to prepare and serve fresh handmade food on a daily basis. the working environment is based around a restaurant for our clients staff but also involves function & VIP work from 2 -400 covers.

The right candidate must have the following:

minimum NVQ level 2 in catering
current food hygiene certificate
good communication skills
good customer service skills
good time keeping
self motivated
team player
minimum 2 years experience ideally in restaurants & cost sector catering
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
