At Essentially Hops we have over 60 years of hop growing experience and over 30 years of selling decorative hop garlands by mail order. We harvest, dry, condition and box our dried hop garlands, so that they can be stored for use throughout the rest of the year. We also grow a

wide range of grass and flower varieties, which are either supplied fresh (during the growing season), or kiln dried, for year round colour. It’s #ThrowbackThursday and we are again transporting you back to the summer of 1975! Not too much has changed with hop picking, we still use the (now) vintage Ford and David Brown tractors and our field crew go home at the end of summer with good memories and stories to tell. Occasionally, our customers have memories of hop picking that they share with us, and if you have any we would love to hear them! Don’t forget, the preorder for our #FreshHops is now open. Picking hops for beer today, my my not much has changed

Fresh hop garlands are now available in store and online! To celebrate we thought we'd share this amazing footage we were sent of Hops being harvested on this very farm in 1967 with some familiar family faces.

Signing off our #WeddingWednesday with this video of a little experiment... Polly asked if there was anything we could do to create something out of her bridal bouquet as a keepsake from the big day. We dried the bouquet and went for a beautiful heart wreath and are super pleased with the end result 💕 Thanks so much to our lovely couple, Polly & David - it was a pleasure being part of your wedding.
