Fat Blokes is coming to Chapter!

Made by five fat friends who have never done this sort of thing before, in collaboration with Lea Anderson, Fat Blokes subjects you to our pent up aggression, love for riot grrrl and our ability to burp on command.

Fat Blokes is the cult, award winning, sell out, sort of dance show about trying to fit into a world that says you’re too fat.

We’re so sad to hear of the passing of theatre maker Mike Pearson.

This Sunday 29 May at 12 noon, Good News From the Future will present A WALK IN THE PARK, conceived and directed by Mike. The short performance is dedicated to his memory, in grief but with love and gratitude for all he did for the group.

Good News from the Future is a physical theatre company for the over sixties. Created by Mike in the summer of 2014. Previous performances have included What Comes Next? and Museum Pieces. Since lockdown, Good News have continued to meet in Cardiff on Sunday mornings, with the intention of creating this new pop up work.

It’s free to attend and everyone’s welcome. We hope you can join us in remembrance and celebration of the incredible creative force that was Mike Pearson.
