Mornin' all!

We're delighted to announce that the incredible singer-songwriter Roisin O'Hagan will be kicking things off for us on the night! Able to produce lyrical hooks seemingly in her sleep, Roisin has spent her teenage years recording and performing on the local music scene, gaining attention and making connections within the circuit. Her live performances have a rawness and simplicity that is at once disarming and charming. February 2017 saw the release of her all-original EP, "Blue & Grey" - a glimpse into an unending supply of beautiful, well crafted and dynamically strong songs. From big announcement to the next!

Alongside the news of our incredible next show, Wallop! Presents: Caught In A Wave (Debut Show), we've also just received transmission at WALLOP! HQ that for the 3rd year running your friendly neighbourhood WALLOP! has been nominated in The Panic Awards!

We've been selected in the 'Regular Night of The Year' category. It's always such a wonderful feeling when the WALLOP! Intern finishes translating the news from morse code, and we are humbled and flattered that some of you lovely regulars have decided we are worthy of your nomination.

The Panic Awards is a non-profit organisation that not only celebrates the great and good of the Chelmsford arts and music scene, but also does tremendous work for charity. The awards ceremony is on April 11th, and all the money raised goes straight to charity. So please, take the evening off, come down to The Civic Theatre and celebrate all that's wonderful in our fair city.
