📣 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 I’m going to be passing on the Thrift Market baton to the lovely Shena Lawrence
I started running the markets in lockdown , when I organised my own unwanted clothes with my time off work and wanted a way to give them a new home. I absolutely love buying pre loved clothes, as it makes me feel like I’m making a small difference in the decline of the fast fashion industry and setting up the market was a way for everyone else with pre loved clothes to do the same!
I’ve always had so much positive feedback from stall holders and shoppers I just wanted to keep the markets going. I’ve now got more working hours and can’t put my all into planning future markets. Shena has lots of experience in selling pre loved clothes and I’m excited she wants to carry on the markets!
I’ll be selling on my stories when I can and hopefully do Shena’s markets in the future.
So from now on all market enquiries must go to Shena. She will give you all the information and update on future markets.

Just to let you all know I’ve been given a last minute chance to sell some clothes! I’ll be selling my pre-loved goodies this Sunday 11am till 4pm ♻️🚌 at The Old Farm Bus. it’s a great opportunity and I hope to see some familiar faces.

Less then a week now until the first day of our Market! The Mobile coffee Co will be outside No28 serving hot/cold drinks and snacks. From 10:00am on Saturday.
They have a wide selection of sugar and sugar free syrup, none dairy milk or dairy milk. 🫖☕️🧁🧃🍰

Please make sure you treat yourself to drinks and snacks before or after the market! 😷

We have exciting news for our Sunday 23rd Market day!! Vegan Revelation Street Food will be serving their trademark ‘ Big Rev Burger’ along with Teas/Coffees & Natty Roots
drinks outside number 28! Drinks from 10:00am and burgers from 11:00am until sold out! Obviously due to Covid restrictions we can’t have food or drink inside, so please treat yourself before or after you’ve done your thrifting!

Today’s post should have been saying “3 weeks today” sadly it’s just a reminder to say that as we are in a National lockdown the market is postponed.. AGAIN! but I have hope for a spring time market! I will announce a date as soon as Boris tells the nation we are out of lockdown and I’ve spoken to everyone.

Fingers crossed Derbyshire goes down to tier 3 and the market can go ahead at the end of the month. It’s not looking great atm so I will update all shoppers and stall holders as soon as I know if we have to reschedule or not. Thank you for all your patience.

Thrift market is back! Double thrift market event will start at 10:00am on Saturday 30th January finishing at 3:00pm, and then the same on Sunday 31st but with all new traders!
Both days will be a mixture of ladies, mens and kids clothes. Really hope we have something for everyone!

Covid rules will be in place in line with government guidelines. Any changes and we will update everyone in advance 😷
