Saturday morning flower fun 🤩 After two days of sunshine 🌞 lots and lots of dahlias to pick before the storms .

A few flower pics following a tiny bit of sunshine ☀️ after all the rain . The dahlias are popping and the roses 🌹 are getting ready for their second flush. The snaps are finally here but stems are a bit weedy compared to other years .

Sweet pea matucana in full flow - it’s the one that has the strongest most gorgeous scent .

Timeless pink roses standing up to huge downpours and now intense sunshine.

A rogue calendula gatecrasher amongst the more sophisticated touch of red buff.

Malope Vulcan - I think my all time favourite annual.

This weeks flowers for The Westbrook Inn. The dahlias have gone crazy but I wish I had planted a better variety of colours. More pale pink and creams less apricots and oranges 🍊. ✈️

Todays flowers for The Westbrook Inn. High summer colours in abundance. Picture 2 is the first of the rudbeckia Sahara - grown from seed these are overflowing with buds so expect to see them making quite a few appearances over the coming weeks. ✈️

Post holiday colour explosion. It is always nice to come back after time away and see how much has changed even if there is a huge list of jobs to do.

1. Potamic orange 🍊 snaps - have been so prolific this year.

2. Apricotta cosmos. Loving 🥰 this colour.

3. Dahlia explosion especially Cornel Brons.

4. Echinacea and bronze fennel flowering freely.

5. The front garden looking out of control - no chance of regaining power until ❄️.

Huge bouquet for my bestest customer. The spray of roses at the front is pompenella, an absolute favourite ❤️ but one I can’t find any more .

A couple of large jar post orders from the weekend . These are bigger than normal jam jars and are stuffed full of seasonal flowers 💐. With the end of term approaching they make great gifts for teachers . Please get in touch if you would like to order they cost £15. I also offer traditional bouquets for £15. ✈️

This weeks flowers for The Westbrook Inn. Sadly I think this will be the last of the cornflowers. Although autumn sown cornflowers are really useful in May and early June they become a bit unruly and I need the space for the Zinnias which will take their place both in the flower patch and in bouquets. ✈️
