Shine bright like.. a sunflower ! Beautiful sunflowers from my visit to Maiden Castle Farm for the sunflower trail today. I think my recent sunflower cupcake bouquet for a customer just looks fabulous against the pictures taken today. All of them bright, and they've definitely given me a smile!

Sometimes it's nice to give yourself a treat, something to make you have even 5 minutes of joy and a smile.. or see the happiness on someone else's face when you present them some cupcakes or a cake..

Sometimes small things can do wonders!

It's here - the August Raffle. Let's make someone's start of the week a nice treat!

There are 50 tickets which are listed by numbers below 1-50.. £2 a ticket number.

Please comment on the post with how many tickets numbers you'd like. I will then update in order the numbers 1-50 (unless requested random) and when I have updated your name in the list you would then need to make payment by BACS.

Yummy Father's Day cupcakes Treat dad to some tasty cupcakes a variety of toppings. Chocolate or Vanilla sponge in boxes of either 6 - £15 or 12 - £30 Limited availability so please get your orders in ASAP. Collection Is Broadmayne on 17th June.

When people ask me for a cake quote, I usually start off by asking how many portions are required, when it's needed and also an idea of the budget available. Some people are reluctant to give a budget, and I can understand completely, especially when you are new to ordering a custom cake. However, the questions regarding serving size and budget just help me send ideas that will be along the right lines. I don't want to send you pictures of a cake that would cost way above the budget available. I often also ask if there is a design that has been seen and liked as this also helps. Sometimes small changes in details can alter the price so its inportant for me to know as close as possible what my customers are looking for. I really love making these special cakes and seeing my customers faces when we open the box for a quick look upon collection and it's especially nice when the lid comes off and they say ... Wow! That is fabulous and smells amazing.
