Greetings all, we are having a sabbatical this coming weekend Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th May 2024 Kings Dundee will be closed however reopening again this Sunday 5th May 2024 at 8pm for the Original Unofficial DDE Afterparty. Doors 8pm till late.

Do you hear that? Sounds like a good time!! It’s fundraver season!!!!

once again be at Kings this Thursday 21st March 2024 from 22:30- 02:30 with a dynamite 🧨 selection of DJs. They’ve got their tried and tested returning deck masters and lectures. Former Boiler Room performer, Andrew cook, AKA Samoyed and Paul Gault, Pauleeji, renowned for mixing vinyl. As an extra special gift to all attendees, they have their very own Scott Brennan: Nada Meen to round off the set list.

This is prime fundraising event for the Degree Show and one of our biggest nights of the year. It’s a great way to help out our precious 4th years as we head towards the end of the semester and is highly rated by past attendees.

1990. Danny is a 19-year-old who stands at the crossroads of football violence and house music.

‘Better Days’ is a the critically acclaimed 1-man show that took the Edinburgh Fringe Festival by storm in 2023. It takes the audience on a musical journey from 1990 to 1993, combining poetic storytelling with some of the best music from the time. If you were there, you’ll enjoy a nostalgic celebration of a scene that so many people still hold dear in their hearts, but with plenty of twists and turns along the way. If you weren’t, you’ll get a visceral sense of how it felt to come of age in the best era ever!

Featuring music from Frankie Knuckles, 808 State, Slam and many more.

London-based DJ, producer, label owner and promoter has a long and varied career in dance music, stretching from illegal raves in fields in his birthplace Cambridge through residencies at some of London’s most legendary clubs to some of the biggest venues and festivals in the world. Ben plays an eclectic, inimitable mix of house, disco, electro, afro, acid, garage, tirelessly digging for lesser known gems from the past through his RecordReplay bargain bin vinyl radio show (Balamii, Soho Radio) and seamlessly fitting them alongside the sounds of today, sprinkled with his own acclaimed edits and productions and a high-energy mixing style.

Owner of the highly-rated Monologues Records and G-Edits labels, he also curated and produced edits for hugely popular African music reworks label Sterns Edits. He also runs Pitchblack Playback, a series of album and DJ mixtape listening sessions in the dark, of which Rick Rubin said “this sounds great” and Jamiroquai’s Jay Kay said was “a fabulous idea”. Currently a resident for Pleasurehood, XOYO’s flagship Saturday night event, he has also played regularly at Berlin’s hallowed Sisyphos since 2019.

is the best DJ you haven’t heard of yet. Although if you have been to Ibiza you have probably danced to his wonderful music already. A resident over the years at Space, Pacha, Hi, Lio, Destino and many other legendary clubs, Mr Doris is a rare beast who has marvellous technical skills (as a renowned turntablist) and is equally comfortable playing Funk, Hip Hop, Latin, House, techno and anything in between.

Think somewhere between Mr Scruff, Norman Jay and Felix Da Housecat and you’ll be getting close. Dicky and Doris played together this summer at La Discotheque’s new The Little Disco event in Ibiza Town and it was splendid. So it was decided that a Scottish rewind was necessary.
