So sorry my lovelies! Yesterday completely ran away with me. The last of the wreaths are below, if you'd like one please comment - first come, first served. Delivery in Wi******er, Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh for £3 extra or it can be collected from central Eastleigh. I have a couple of silver wreath hangers left for £3 but please note these only fit composite doors.

Simply red - 'Merry Christmas' Red gonk - £22

Green (and gold) with envy - white poinsettia, feathers, velvet leaves, frosted pinecones, gold accents - £25 - approx 16 inches diameter

**SOLD**Silver linings - white roses, feathers, frosted pine cones, silver accents - approx 17 inches diameter

Please be aware that real feathers have been used on these wreaths so do go careful if you have an allergy! Heavy accents have been attached using floristry wire so they should fare better than the hot glue wreaths available in the shops.

Sadly I will not be making any more wreaths this season but I'm planning to have a small offering for spring and Easter so watch this space!

*ALL SOLD* Hello my lovelies - I know it's early but I'm sure a few of you are already thinking about the 'C' word!🌲As promised, here are the first 3 festive wreaths up for grabs - I will be making a few more if there is enough interest but they will not be the same as these as I only had 3 of these bases. They're approximately 15 inches (38cm) diameter (give or take a little for rogue flowers/foliage.)

Hello my lovelies. It's been such a long time (again...) - so sorry, time seems to be absolutely flying. I've been working away in the background and I have some exciting news (I hope you'll agree...) I'll be offering faux door wreaths for autumn/Christmas this year. Sadly I won't be able to take on commissions but these will be offered on a first come first served basis and each will be completely unique. This is not something I've done before so please bare with me - I'll be aiming to post the first batch over the coming weeks. **HELP NEEDED PLEASE**

Hello my lovelies! It's been a while and I hope you're all doing well. Sadly I haven't been able to manage the business and my full time job in the way I'd hoped - unfortunately the perishable nature of flowers would mean 3am starts every day (I like mornings, but not that much!) That being said, I would really like to start this little venture again in some capacity - this is where I need your help please. I've had a few ideas that would be easier to manage around my full time job but I need your feedback around if you'd still be interested in buying from me so I can get the ball rolling (or not!) Any other ideas are more than welcome too...

- Faux arrangements
- Faux door wreaths (including Christmas)
- Houseplants with decorative pots
- Seasonal flowers wrapped in brown paper delivered one evening a week (day TBC) for you to arrange yourself at home.

**HYDRANGEA HELP - CARE TIPS**

Did you know it's very common for hydrangeas (especially giant) to wilt within the first couple of days of being cut? They're not dead...just thirsty! Their woody stems get clogged with 'sap' that stops water travelling to their heads. Here's how you can help your little hydrangea friends!

1. Either cut off an inch of stem (diagonally) and carefully slit through the middle by another half an inch or use a hammer to crush the bottom inch. Place in boiling water for 30 seconds then transfer to your vase.

2. Pop the hydrangeas head down into a cool bath for up to 24 hours

Ta-dah! Your hydrangeas will be happy and hydrated and will bounce back within 24 hours.

Ensure you change your water every day to keep them looking as fresh as possible. Leave to naturally dry out in the vase to enjoy your blooms for longer (late season hydrangeas cut between August - October work best for this!)

Good evening lovely people! What a scorcher it's been! I absolutely love the colours in this beauty, she's probably my favourite to date - I love me a neutral. I wonder if you'll help me out with a little something please? How much would you pay for this? (it's not for sale as it's for a friend ..I'm just curious.) It's hard to get an idea of size but it's huge! I benchmarked this against one of my fellow florists and they're charging £70+! (I definitely WILL NOT be charging this, ever) I'm just curious and I know I can rely on all of you to be honest 😊thanks in advance.

Morning beauts! I've just got back from the wholesalers so I'll have some first come first served flowers available for delivery this evening :) I'm currently unsure of the makeup of each bouquet but I have:

- Sunflowers x 5 stems
- Peonies x 5 stems - we're coming to the end of peony season and these are reduced as they're in bloom
- Blue hydrangea x 5 stems - reduced as they're smaller than usual
- Giant pink hydrangea
- Giant white hydrangea

Too many other bits and pieces to mention!

Hello my loves! It's been a busy but fantastic day. I have to be honest, I was extremely tired last night after going back to work full time on Monday and doing flowers, but I woke up with a spring in my step this morning. It's been amazing chatting with some regulars and newbies today - you're all so lovely and I'm not sure what I've done to deserve such wonderful customers!

As you all know I'm absolutely passionate about supporting local businesses (paying it back for all of the support you fabulous lot give me.) I met lovely Kayleigh today who runs Honora (I've linked her page below.) As soon as she opened the door, the smell of her house was INCREDIBLE. I'm currently burning one of her wax melts (they're vegan and eco friendly) and I can genuinely say they're the best wax melts I've ever used. I gave up with wax melts and threw away my burner because they were always disappointing but let me tell you...these are unreal. Happy Saturday lovelies, lots to say today so please bare with me!

1. Thank you so much for snapping up all of the flowers I posted over the past couple of days. With going back to work, I imagine these types of 'first come first served' weekends will become a regular occurrence 😊

2. A huge amount of you have mentioned that you think my arrangements are worth far more than I charge (thank you!) Having compared my prices to my peers and realising that what I charge isn't sustainable (if I want to make a proper go of this) there will be a price increase on all of my work (current orders will be price honoured.) I hope you can all understand why I need to do this and that it's not me being greedy.

3. I intend to start a vase refill service whereby if you already own one of my vases I'll refill it for a discount.

4. Check out this huge anniversary vase, inspired by the couple's wedding flowers 25 years ago.

**IMPORTANT CHANGES - please take the time to read!**

On 22nd March I created 'Lilys of the valley' as a means for my friends and family to see my flowers (I had never felt confident enough to sell my work so I'd create arrangements for my nearest and dearest as a way to fuel my passion) - little did I know that just over 2 months later I'd have nearly 1000 of you following my page and so many wonderful reviews.

The day after 'Lilys of the valley' was born, lockdown was announced and shortly afterwards I was placed on furlough from my full time job which meant I could focus on flowers 24/7. Things are now beginning to return to 'normal' so I'll be returning to my job on the 15th June - this sadly means 'Lilys of the valley' can no longer be my focus. At the moment I don't know how I'm going to juggle a full time job and this little business (I imagine it will mean very early mornings and late nights) but what I do know is that I'm going to try my best to make it work. I absolutely love this page and working with flowers and I can't imagine life without either now. All I ask for is your patience and understanding whilst I figure out this new chapter.

Finally, I'm so happy I could bring some smiles over lockdown by delivering cheerful blooms and I thank you for your continued support.

Happy sunny Sunday! The response to my bee buckets was phenomenal (and rather unexpected!) I'm thinking about offering other decoupaged designs so my question is: what else would you like to see? Do you have a favourite animal, flower or something else? I would have to charge more for these as they are very time consuming to create, however I hope you'll agree they're worth the extra.

Please note: My order books are now closed for the bee buckets but I'm hoping to open them again soon 😊
