Tonight's concert, Pistons and Pipes (Friday 10 August at 10pm) features the award winning duo Calum Robertson and Tom Poulson. They formed to champion the trumpet-organ art form. The programme begins in the 18th century with Handel's Suite in D and works through Mozart into the 20th century with Messiaen and Langlais. NOT TO BE MISSED! Tickets on the door.

Tonight's programme of baroque will be fabulous! Purcell's Golden Trio Sonata, plus Jeremiah Clarke, Handel and Thomas Arne. Baroque violins, cello, harpsichord and voice. 10 pm at Old Saint Paul's, with hot chocolate 9.30 to 9.55.

Hot Chocolate concert 4 sees City and Old Saint Paul's Organist, John Kitchen at work. Organ works by Bach, Leighton and Parry. This year’s Hot Chocolate at 10 programme is now available on the Old Saint Paul's website. The series of 12 nightly concerts of classical music by candlelight is in aid of Old Saint Paul’s Restoration and renewal appeal.

The series runs from 9 to 26 August. Tuesday to Friday evenings at 10 pm. The programme ranges from 16th century Scottish choral works to music for the Chinese gouchung.
