Emma, Charlie & Melissa,

I’m not sure where to start because no words can express how thankful I am to the 3 of you, and all of your team. Our wedding on Saturday was an absolute dream, I loved every second.

Right from the minute we walked in on Friday to set up, Emma was there ready to help with anything we needed, getting us drinks, talking us through what works well and generally putting our minds at rest. She was amazing and empathetic in telling me there was a high chance the ceremony would have to be indoors, and I can’t thank her and Charlie enough (and all the crew) for pushing for it to be outside, it was absolutely perfect and I’ll be forever grateful you did that for us knowing it wasn’t easy.

The day ran perfectly, at no point did we feel rushed or unorganized, everything was planned to a t. Right down to all the candles being lit, and donuts being restocked.

A huge thank you to the lady who reopened the ice cream parlor after we were so busy with family portraits we missed it! And to the lady behind the bar who ran to get us tequila rose when they ran out. We appreciate you all!

To Teresa at Holly Lodge, wow what an asset you are! You stayed late on the morning to make sure Preston’s sandwich was hot, and then - unbeknown to me, sewed my bridesmaid into her dress after the whole side split 10 minutes before we were due to leave, for staying calm, and fixing that absolute disaster - I can’t thank you enough.

All in all, everybody commented throughout the night what an amazing venue, and team you all were. I knew from the moment I met with Melissa it was the one, and you’ve all made the process so easy and seamless. Everything was stunning and the photos and videos I’ve had back so far look like an actual fairytale - I want to do it all again.

So from the bottom of our hearts - thank you so much!

We celebrated our wedding day at Thursford Garden Pavilion and had the most amazing day.

From the moment we were greeted by Melissa for the viewing, we knew instantly we had to book, it was everything we had dreamt of and more.

In the run up to the wedding, Melissa and Emma were both on hand to answer any questions we had and they both went above and beyond to ensure our day was exactly how we envisioned it. The whole team at Thursford are a pleasure to work with.

After our church ceremony , we had canapes and prosecco in the secret garden, this is a hidden gem, with beautifully manicured lawns and the most picturesque fountain. We then moved into the barn for our wedding breakfast, before enjoying the wonderful, vintage fairground rides in the museum. It was lovely to see children’s (and adults!) faces light up whilst enjoying the rides. We carried on our evening celebrations in the pavilion which offers so much space and is versatile to suit any kind of wedding. It was lovely to be able to decorate it exactly how we wanted it and have the team on hand the day before to assist in setting up. Melissa absolutely excels at wedding planning and was on hand throughout the day to ensure everything ran smoothly.

We stayed at Holly Lodge the night of the wedding, what a gorgeous place to stay, lovely staff, delicious breakfast and the rooms are so comfortable, clean and stylish. It made a lovely end to an unforgettable day.

It was an absolute privilege to have celebrated our wedding day at Thursford and are extremely thankful to all the staff involved who helped make our day one we will remember for the rest of our lives.

What an absolute privilege to have celebrated our wedding at Thursford Garden Pavilion!
We chose to stay for the two nights at Holly Lodge B&B across the road which certainly was the icing on the cake and made our day that much more special and stress-free. The breakfasts included on both mornings were delicious, the rooms were stunning and no ask was too much from the lovely staff. It also gave us a great base to return to as it easily accesses the venue.

The whole process of preparing and planning our special day was made easy thanks to the fantastic team at Thursford, they were all extremely helpful providing suggestions, ensuring everything was put together and relieving the not so fun 'tidying away' afterwards! Melissa did everything she could to ensure our day ran smoothly and was accessible throughout the whole lead up, set up day and wedding day to be a helping hand and answer any questions or queries we had!

We felt very honoured to have been able to get married in the beautiful barn, and to have access to the fairground rides & museum which were a huge hit with our guests. It was also nice to have been able to put our own touch on it when we came to the reception decorating the room, the dance floor, tables & chairs and bar were already in place! We also loved how we were given optional extras to add to our day such as the LOVE dance floor letters and blossom trees to suit our budget and being in-house made it so easy.

We had such fantastic feedback from our guests, how good the venue was and how helpful the staff were, we agree that this day simply couldn’t have gone any better and we are so grateful to everyone involved at Thursford Garden Pavilion.
Our most perfect wedding day, beautifully captured by the lovely and very talented Dan Sunderland who we also highly recommend.

The barn is our most popular ceremony space, it's rustic charm with intimate lighting and draping makes it the perfect ceremony space. Perfectly situated, once married you can lead your guests straight into the museum for arrival drinks and vintage fairground rides.

We had been to Thursford at Christmas time and loved the photogenic setting. When we found out they do weddings, we jumped at the chance got into contact with them. Before we knew it, we met Melissa and the venue was booked.
Melissa was our main point of contact, she was so easy to get in contact with whenever I had any questions or worries.
We had a slight hiccup in the day which the whole team were so flexible throughout the day and evening still making sure everything ran smoothly.
The venue is stunning and it will always be a special place for us.
Our day was such a magical day and we can't thank Thursford enough. We wish we could do it all again.
