Celebrating 25 years of excellence at The Three Kings: a true family legacy

25 years ago today June 12th 1999, David Cattanach opened the doors to his newest business venture. Knowing he had the capability and desire to turn a long forgotten building in Falkirk into one of Scotland’s premier wedding and entertainment venues, David began with the hopes of providing unforgettable party nights to the people of central Scotland and The Three Kings was launched.

David, along with his son James and wife Janice built the business from the ground up. Humble beginnings with popular weekend cabaret nights soon saw the addition of a popular restaurant which then transformed into a thriving family business providing over 120 weddings every year. Staying true to his philosophy of being a true family run, family orientated business, daughters Paula and Catrina joined the team which now also includes David’s grandsons and many long standing staff members who have become part of the extended family over the years.

When David saw the potential to create a truly unique venue that could offer a stress free approach to planning a wedding he launched his original wedding package. A revolutionary offering that promised to take the stress out of planning a wedding and allow everything to be included for a one off price. Being truly family run allowed David, James and team to provide unmatched service, allowing them to treat every wedding as if it were their own family and soon the business was setting standards for weddings in Falkirk and beyond. Going from strength to strength over the years but still with the drive and determination to always improve saw The Three Kings reach a long standing goal with the addition of ten luxurious bedrooms, further enhancing the experience for each and every guest.

Recent years have been a true testament to the resilience and determination of The Three Kings. Overcoming the challenges brought by the pandemic and the profound loss of our beloved father, this remarkable family-run business has not only persevered but thrived. Through our unmatched spirit and unwavering dedication, The Three Kings has built upon the strong foundation left by David to take the business from strength to strength. It is this relentless pursuit of perfection for our guests that has earned The Three Kings its well deserved reputation as central Scotland’s premier wedding venue.

Today, as we reflect on the remarkable 25-year journey of The Three Kings, we celebrate the unwavering commitment of the entire family. Our vision, passion, and love for what we do has transformed The Three Kings into a place where dreams come true, where love is celebrated, and where memories are made.

Hi everyone. A bit of a different post from us today. One of our very own, Rachael is running the London Marathon today…a whopping 26.2 miles for a fantastic cause. Rachael has worked with us for almost 20 years and now finally after covid initially postponed her first entry in 2020 the day is finally here! All the family and the team here at The Three Kings are so proud of her and wish her all the very best on her run. 👑👑👑 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

After the success of our wedding show last weekend some may have noticed our new menu options as part of our package.

Our enthusiastic chefs have put together a vibrant new menu that showcases fresh, seasonal produce and features everyone’s favourite classic dishes combined with some of their own modern ideas. With options to suit everyone and every care taken to accommodate allergies and intolerances we are sure you will love the new choices as much as we do.

After a busy January we are excited to share the results of our recent refurbishments.

Phase one of our daytime bar improvements is now complete. We have opened up the area by removing the existing wall, allowing natural light to flood into the newly enhanced space which highlights our newly laid herringbone floor perfectly. We look forward to adding in a few more exciting touches in the coming months.

A beautiful new parquet style floor has been laid across our entire ceremony room. Adding a classic look to the room and blending perfectly with our beautiful stained window and blossom tree.

We have made the biggest changes in our bathrooms. All 4 of our customer bathrooms have been fully replaced and restyled. Continuing with the beautiful herringbone flooring and combining this with timeless marble walls and some stunning, modern counter top basins. We have created more space and fully enhanced the guest experience in each of our carefully redesigned bathrooms.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Sean and his team at Heatwave for all their hard work in creating our new bathrooms.

We are looking forward to another busy year ahead and are excited to continue to give all our guests the very best day possible at The Three Kings.

Yes we take an initial deposit of £500 then a further £500 deposit nine months prior to the wedding date.  (please see terms of booking page on premier wedding package page)
