All the money raised will be going to Christian Aid to help families around the world to overcome poverty and injustice, wherever the need is greatest.

📢 As today is Thank You Day and we're in the middle of National Volunteers' Week 2022, we'd like to say a huge T h a n k Y o u to those who have supported our event!

❤️ So far a core team of volunteers have been working for months on the huge task of planning our event. Next week we have so many more people coming together from across Rutherglen to volunteer on the day!

😃 Everyone involved is doing so to help ensure those that take part enjoy a lovely (& safe!) afternoon in the park, while raising vital funds for Christian Aid to allow them to help more families turn hunger into hope.

With just under 6 weeks to go until the big day 📆 if you're thinking of challenging yourself to run the 5K route, you might want to have a look at the 'Couch to 5K' programme. You can find other training plans online for running or walking 5K if you'd prefer. 🏃‍♀️🚶‍♂️

NHS Couch to 5K will help you get off the couch and gradually work you up to running 5km in just 9 weeks.

📢 It's Back !!! Four years after the successful inaugural event in 2018, Rutherglen Churches Christian Aid Committee have been busy planning another family friendly afternoon for us at Overton Park to raise funds for Christian Aid in 2022.
