The Renfield Centre is delighted to welcome back Action for Children Scotland Boycott your Bed following last year's successful event to raise funds for vulnerable children. This Friday October 4th, Blythswood Hall will once again provide the perfect venue for some bonding, team-building and refreshments, before participants make their way to the sleepout location in Blythswood Square Gardens where they will demonstrate their solidarity with the children who face every night without a safe place to sleep. Music is the engine of The Renfield Centre and we are delighted to fuel the fires of three of the city's most exciting choirs who rehearse with us weekly. We got to hear a sneak peak❄️😊of our friends The GSA Choir during their terrific Tuesday night rehearsal led by Maestro Jamie Sansbury and the fabulous pianist Ed' Cohen when we were also joined by the fantastic Glasgow Philharmonic Male Voice Choir aaaaaand tonight we welcome Scotland's Ca****la Slavonica who are open to new members. The Renfield Centre is delighted to be welcoming the combined talents of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in McLean, Virginia Sanctuary Choir and Bell Choir with Glasgow Youth Choir Glasgow Legacy Choir in a **free concert** on Monday September 2nd at 7.30pm that is sure to be a beautiful evening of music and a truly international event. Our charity The Renfield Centre is proud to enable life-changing work across sectors. During a time of struggle for many services, it is especially nice to be facilitating an event hosted by the Care Inspectorate acknowledging the achievements of those they work in partnership with to effect positive changes improving the quality of care in Scotland👏👏👏a little bird told us a fitting celebration will soon fill the Centre's fantastic Blythswood Hall 🎈

When visiting The Renfield Centre you might bump into the musical stars of the future. The philosophy of our resident Nite Piano School is that it is "more than just a music lesson, but a lesson in life"👍🏼⬇️

Since its inception in 2017 Nite Piano School has been connecting some of the region's finest piano teachers with students of all ages, backgrounds and levels, providing lessons and classes for children and young people from 5+. What better way to to launch our new page by celebrating the recent outstanding production of Mozart's Don Giovanni by our friends Clyde Opera Group led by their formidable Artistic Director Roxana Nite and a talented cast and crew, & presented in The Renfield Centre's Blythswood Hall ⬇️

As we embark on an ambitious development phase, we look forward to working in more depth with wonderful partners, including bringing more extraordinary performing arts to the Centre's diverse communities, as well as new audiences we look forward to welcoming in the coming months.
