Back to work, yesterday after a good family Easter break. Looks like spring is in the air today! Pleasant change after all the rain and cold recently!!

It was such a joy to wake up to all your lovely messages/comments and pictures this morning.
I slept like a baby after my Sunday roast lunch yesterday. Bed at 6pm till 7 this morning. I was definitely catching up on the missed sleep over the last few days!!
Thank you for keeping us busy this Mother's day weekend!! And big thank you to our florists and staff!X

Happy Valentine's day!!
That's us done for the day. Sold out of roses and flowers. Last bouquet just collected and all deliveries marked off!! Time to pick up the kids, a romantic family KFC dinner (don't judge, our Valentine's tradition) and a large G&T!!

Happy Sweet 16 to Flowers by Suzy Liu today!! Oh my goodness, how is my business, 16!!! I remember opening the doors on this very day 16 years ago, wondering if anyone would come in and thinking, "I'll give it a year and see what happens!" I remember that very first sale and even took a wedding in my first week!! 16 years later and I'm still here! Times have changed and our business model has changed too. We have social media (I'm not very good at posting at times!), and we had covid times. Although we don't have the same physical shop on the High Street, we are still here, loving what we do! Thank you for your continued support of our small business. X

Oh my goodness, how is it the 18th December today!!?? It just feels like yesterday, it was the 1st of December and I was allowing Christmas songs to be played 🎶🎄 🎵! There's been lots of Christmas festivities with the kids 🎅 and for the first time ever, presents 🎁 are bought, wrapped and hidden! 🎉

Good news! The shop number is fixed and back to normal. I can take your calls again!! Bad news, literally an hour after the shop phone was fixed last night, my mobile screen completely goes, can not see a thing on it. I’ve transferred my sim onto an ancient phone for now. 🥹 We’ve had a fresh delivery in this morning, all cut and conditioned, looking pretty and full.

Gosh! It's been a while again, and it's September!! We are settling back into our new routines again with life, nursery, school, clubs and fitting it around our flowers and deliveries!! We are still here even when we don't post very often these days. Social media always seems to take a back seat when life gets hectic. Here is a small selection of bouquets that have left our studio recently. Loving these summer vibrant blooms and glad to see the sun back out to play!!

Back to normal today!! Hooray!! P4 for Sophia and more nursery hours for Mylar. It has been a fun and busy summer, juggling work with these two. We've all survived but craving our own space and routine now!! Can't believe it's nearly hometime already, the day has flown in!!

What a wet and rubbish day for our last day of P3. Sent Sophia to school this morning with two bouquets for her two teachers. She loves to personalise the boxes and select the flowers.

Congratulations to the class of 2023!! Well done on your graduation, all the hard work has paid off.
We delivered flower arrangements for the University of Strathclyde to the beautiful Barony Hall this morning when it was all nice and quiet. There will be approximately 200 students graduating per ceremony with two ceremonies per day until Friday 30th June. Wow!
