Wow the rain didn’t put you off grabbing a bargain today… everything from shelving units to watering cans were flying out the door! we’ve still got lots left but it’s going fast, think it’s likely everything will be gone by the weekend at this rate so don’t delay! Everything Must Go, Reduced to clear! After two and a half years of running our fabulous florist it’s time for the Maybugs business to evolve once again. Maybugs has grown faster than any of us expected and as such both John and I must now fully focus on some fabulous opportunities for future growth of Maybugs which is planned for 2023/24. Regretfully that means that Flowers by Maybugs will close on 12th January. The florist shop will then undergo a complete transformation into a band new and improved Maybugs store opening in the spring. Don’t worry though, the current Maybugs in Hailsham will continue to be open the whole time! And both Eastbourne and Bexhill are of course there too!

Our flowers team have known about this for some time, and have either found fabulous new employment in the floristry world, or are being transferred over to Team Maybugs.

To all our wonderful flower customers, it’s been our absolute honor to serve you for the happiest and saddest of occasions. Flowers have the power to evoke the strongest of memories and we have loved every minute of it. Of course we are sad to see Flowers by Maybugs go, however we are beyond excited for what the future holds for Maybugs and we can’t wait to share the news with you!

From Wednesday 28th, when we reopen after Christmas everything in the florist is reduced to clear, including all the fixtures and fittings… including our floral fridge if you know anyone who might be interested? We won’t have any fresh flowers from now on, so regretfully we can’t accept any future floral orders.
