So the time has come for me to say farewell to my fabulous little catering business that I started from scratch with 1 spit roast machine in the back of my car!!
After 7 years I’ve decided it’s time to hand over the reins so that I can focus on expanding the mobile bar side of things.
It’s been tough, it’s been fantastic, my team as always have been fabulous and I can’t thank them enough for their support over the years!
Not forgetting of course all my wonderful clients which for many I’ve had repeat bookings which I thank you for 🥰
Swine Dining Sussex Hog Roast however will be continuing without me from the end of May, you will still be able to book/enquire through this page, Instagram and the website there will be a change of phone number which we will update in due course, signing off for now! Lisa x

A Harry Potter themed wedding yesterday for which we provided a themed bar….. I’ve been so excited about doing this one for months as I’m a complete potter head!!
Absolutely loved doing this 😍

Gorgeous weather for a party and a lovely venue in Cuckfield West Sussex for last weekends joint Birthday celebration. There were lots of lovely legs flashing out beneath some stunning kilts!

So tomorrow we are taking part in a charity event to raise money for the Ukraine, there are going to be over 90 stalls selling various items throughout Hassocks village from 12-4pm on Sunday 3rd April, a lot of you enjoyed my sweet treats delivery during lockdown and I will be offering these for sale along with Gina Jenner and her gorgeous cupcakes and muffins on Mackie Avenue. Please come and show your support and of course satisfy your sweet tooth 😋

A lovely wedding celebration for Ashley and Kim at a wonderful venue.
Lindfield Golf Course gave me and the team free reign of their well equipped kitchen and made sure we were well ‘watered’ 😉 definitely looking forward to catering here again 👍
Party was in full swing when we left, hope everyone had a fab night 🍻

The first wedding for our team since COVID-19 hit the uk and what a place to cater at! The gorgeous venue Ravenswood in East Grinstead 😍
Unfortunately I didn’t get time to take any pics indoors but it is beautiful with lovely staff.
I only managed to get a few pics of our little set up outside, please excuse my very poor photography 🤦‍♀️

Fancy some mouth watering Hog Roast with crunchy crackling this weekend…? 😋
If meat isn’t your thing how about some delicious Smokey BBQ pulled jackfruit served in a fresh bap or if you’re really hungry in a fluffy jacket potato loaded with cheese…? 😋
We will be serving up all of the above on Saturday from 2.30pm outside The Hassocks Hotel, perfectly located to enjoy a cold pint from Chris Lambe with your food 😉
Our hogs are locally sourced from Andy Twine at A. Twine butchers located in Hassocks High Street

So good to be out catering for parties again, a few pics from this evenings booking 😊
If you fancy a cheeky takeaway tomorrow we’ll be serving up not only delicious hog roast but Smokey bourbon pulled pork, jacket potatoes with mature cheddar and we’re also serving Smokey BBQ pulled jackfruit for a completely meat free meal. Come and see us at lunchtime at the gorgeous BlackBerry wood camping ground near Plumpton. 🐷

I thought myself and family had managed to escape the pandemic pretty much unscathed, unfortunately that was not the case and we’ve had 2 positive cases in our home ( luckily no serious issues for us )

Having had to isolate for more than 10 days we decided to celebrate our last day with some good old home cooking, roast chicken and homemade triple chocolate brownie.
Back to ‘normality’ tomorrow ☺️

So happy to be back out today doing what we do best, met some lovely people who were all happy to be able to party again ( obviously sticking to restrictions) even the rain couldn’t dampen the atmosphere but the weather came good in the end.

Well here we are nearly in July 2021 and still under restrictions, it’s been over year since we did our last hog roast but despite all the uncertainty we are getting ready ever hopeful that we will soon be able to have the big parties we have all been missing, we have several events lined up for later in the summer so have everything crossed that these will be able to go ahead.
In the meantime we are still able to cater for smaller get togethers, we do more than just hog roasts ☺️
